What are your Healthy Eating Principles (NOT rules) for staying fuller, nourished, more satisfied?😉🙌🍲
Here are some you might consider:
🥗 Clean 'Complete' Protein - clean means as unprocessed as possible, complete means a complete amino acid profile. If ur veggie/vegan this means combining. Not sure what I'm talking about...shout me below. I chose MACKEREL.
🌱 Fresh or frozen greens for their vitamin/ mineral content & fibre. (Sometimes we're hungry for nutrients not just energy. Eg spinach & avocado alongside our meal might result in fewer cravings compared a side of nachos. This is an example of how all calories are not of equal value). I chose LAMB'S LETTUCE.
🥑Healthy fats for smooth hormone functions, nutrients & fullness. (Supporting hormones like leptin, ghrelin & insulin is essential to feeling healthy, strong and free from cravings ). I chose AVOCADO.
🥬Priobiotc/Fermented foods to support our digestive system and so we can fully absorb the nutrients from our food. Sometimes we're eating all the right things but our bodies can't access it. I chose KIMCHI.
🥒 Water Rich / Hydrating foods for fullness, digestive support & energy. It's always best not to dilute our digestive juices by drinking lots with meals...so getting the liquid we need through our food like cucumber helps to keep our body brimming away as we digest. (Processing food uses as lot of water....especially if we eat salty, processed or drier foods...and even the mildest dehydration lead to fatigue.) I chose CUCUMBER ( surprise 🤗)
