Two insightful days at DATForum – Digital Assistive Technology, Paris 2025! ✨
Tove Christiansson, Johanna Odell, Arvid Schillerström and Stian Pedersen participated at DATEurope’s event earlier this week and it was two valuable days, discussing how digital assistive technology is improving lives today and shaping the future.
Our CEO, Tove Christiansson, took part in the Innovation panel, where she talked about the “sweet spot” for innovation - when technology, funding systems and real-world implementation come together. All three need to align to ensure that innovations actually reach people and deliver the intended impact: enabling independent living and help people stay active and included in society.
She shared an example from our own journey. A few years ago we started the initiative to create a new product range for older adults living with dementia – CARY and Komp. These assistive technology solutions support independence, helping people stay in their homes longer, while also offering valuable digital support for family members and healthcare professionals around them.
As more people live longer, the number of dementia cases is rising. This makes smart digital solutions more important than ever, not just for individuals, but for the entire society.
“It’s clear that innovation in this field will play a big role in meeting the challenges we’re facing, and we are proud to be part of this journey, driving the development forward”, says Tove.
Also happy for our former colleague, Mikael Lundin, who was elected to the DATEurope board. Congratulations!
