His passion is to develop people mentally and physically and enjoys the challenge of helping people reach their goals. I have helped clients who have specific sports related targets to clients who have lifelong diseases and want to make improvements in their all round capabilities. Antoine has a strong focus on mobility, movement and strength training and believes if the body is balanced and moving effectively your life will be all the better for it. With everyone's goals being different He is able to tailor and adjust specific programs for people allowing their progress to be steady and achievable. A common discussion I have as a coach with athletes.

Me - “How was the conditioning session?”
Athlete - “Oh great, but I changed it and did it this way because it felt better”

As athletes or even as people we are driving towards goals, bettering ourselves, bettering our performance.

So why do so many people lack the ability to determine the difference between working hard or working smart? Why do people push and push themselves to limits without tracking or monitoring their progress? Why do people time and time again fatigue at their sport?

Typically speaking this is due to not having goals or a measurable target to work towards. They base their improvement on feeling even though there isn’t a tangible measurement tool in place.

I have highlighted some basic points that I recommend should be reviewed by people and coaches in order to help them understand how to better improve their conditioning performance.

1. Basic levels of education. A person that understands their purpose and reason why will take the time to understand what exactly they want to achieve and how to achieve it. Familiarise yourself with the processes you go through and its purpose.
2. No specificity around goals. Working blindly, no structure, no progressive overload just working for the sake of it.
3. Consistency. Adaptation requires habit, discipline and routine. Don’t be a one hit wonder!
4. No tracking systems to monitor a persons readiness. There are many factors into improving performance. We must be as prepared as possible to perform.
5. No tracking systems to monitor a persons progress. By preparing a plan of action and measuring you are not guessing. You are making informed decisions which will not only enhance performance but also build confidence.
6. Too much focus on output and effort rather than energy systems development.

Physiological adaptations are the body’s responses and long-term changes that occur as a result of regular exercise.

Hello everyone,

As winter approaches our strategies for survival through these cold grey times change however the one thing we should always be focused on is our health and wellbeing. Consistency is the winning formula, not any fade diets, not yoyo training schedules, good old fashioned consistency. Everyday is another opportunity for growth, development and understanding of oneself in achieving a healthier more balanced lifestyle.

He has continuously worked with some of the best coaches in the industry who have helped him excel and develop into the man he is today. For the last 15 years he has coached and worked with a variety of athletes alongside the general public and enjoyed immensely helping people achieve their goals and reaching their personal best.
