BACK IN GROSSETO for the public event “Virtual Reality and rehabilitation: presentation of a research project”, where we show the citizens of Grosseto what the power of extended reality can offer in regards to stroke rehabilitation 💥

People got to see it, people got to try it, and we got to speak directly to the people of Grosseto and let them know what an honor it is to share our equipment with them! 🥳

It was the best possible way to end our trip in Italy, and we couldn’t feel more happy with leaving the equipment with Giuliana Rosso and Mauro Mancuso! 🇮🇹 Grazie per tutto e ci vediamo presto! 🤩

Next stop in Italy, Padova! Invited by Professor Maurizio Corbetta to present DiSTRO and RehAtt to eager scientists and clinicians at the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Padova 🧑‍🎓 👩‍🎓
Professor Corbetta has been the scientific lead and a source of great inspiration in the theoretical design of exercises in the RehAtt XR Enriched Rehabilitation, to pivot localized neuronal activation and stimulate the brain’s plasticity 🧠 

To have had the pleasure of having lunch with him after the presentation was a true milestone for Helena (as is clearly visible🤭) as well as for the company! 😍

The British Society of Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine (BSPRM) work to increase the availability of high-quality rehabilitation to anyone with a disability in the UK. From 29 to 30th september they held their annual scientific conference in Nottingham, and given their goal and purpose we knew we had something to offer.

Our very own UK-based Christian met up with our clinical expert Birgitta ”Gittan” and our founder Helena, and together they showed our digital cognitive screening used with stroke survivors to assess what cognitive functions have been affected after the stroke, as well as our ”extended reality” rehabilitation games developed for restoration of affected cognitive functions. 🧠

Last week, we had the trip of a lifetime!
We count ourselves lucky to be able to visit such professionals on the other side of the world and share our brilliant solution!🧠
