“I used to avoid my shadow by staying busy. Now I meet myself with honesty. I feel real, grounded, and finally connected to who I am"
When Jenny first came into my life…
She joined my Reiki II course in Uppsala as a single mother balancing a lot on her shoulders. Even before she walked into the room, I felt that I would meet a special person that day. I even painted my nails in a colour I had never used before, which turned out to match Jenny.
After the course, some time passed before she reached out. When she did, it was with a quiet readiness:
she wanted change and was sooo ready to meet her fears.
But beneath that readiness, I could feel something else — a subtle resistance. Not spoken, not conscious, but present. A facade she had learned to carry for protection. A shield that had helped her survive, but now stood in the way of her spiritual growth.
Our work began with activating Jenny’s spiritual abilities even more and at the same time addressing that shield — gently, consistently, with compassion. It showed up everywhere:
in relationships, in her spiritual practice, in the way she moved through the world.
Jenny, like many of us, had a pattern of avoiding her shadow by staying busy:
fun activities, courses, exercise, distractions that kept her from touching the deeper wounds and expanding as a soul.
My role as her coach was to not get pulled into the stories but to stay with the real energy underneath.
To hold the belief — unwaveringly — that she could free herself and create a great life.
And she did.
Through shamanic journeying and healing, she went straight to the roots of her trauma responses. She met her shadow with courage. She stopped running, started listening and has a fantastic natural ability to work with shamanic guides. They had most certainly been waiting for her!
She stopped hiding behind busyness and began choosing her truth instead, ended co-dependencies in relationships that drained her.
Today, she is offering Reiki healing to others — the first clear step toward a life she truly loves.
She continues her journey in my VIP membership, where we meet every month and deepen her path.
