Founded by "Native" New Yorker, Jim Barbour, a Psychologist & Visionary (Aquarian) ... who saw on his very first visit to this unique property something very special that he knew had to be shared not just with his own family...but with anyone who cared to visit his unique home. Jim's Entrepreneurial Spirit became rekindled, yet again...for the 24th time...after successful businesses both in the USA + Sweden ... once he had moved in to this extraordinary new home & self-proclaimed 'Paradise' on December 1, 2010 with its Magical Views of Historic Ljurhalla Ljurs Kvarn & Damm ... with over 5 square kilometers of Beautiful and Natural Waterfront ... formed by the damming of the Säveån River in front of the Historic 1880 built Ljurs Kvarn (a working hydroelectric plant still today, providing 100% of all electrical requirements to the Barbourosa Oasis & many others of Jim's related Swedish and 'Utland' businesses & neighbors. Jim emigrated to Sweden in April, 2004 for Love, which did not last...but gladly stayed to be the 'primary' parent for his 2 beautiful Swedish American children, Molly, Jan 11, 2006 ... and Oliver, July 4, 2007... a true Yankee Doodle Dandy, born on America's National Independence Day!
