🔴🟡 Store Consciousness and Mindfulness – How Yoga Connects Body and Mind
🔴 Store consciousness is a deep part of our mind. It keeps everything we have experienced in life — happy moments, sad times, pain, memories, habits, and emotions. Each experience plants a “seed” inside us. These seeds can stay quiet, but sometimes they come up again, especially when something similar happens in the present.
🟡 Mindfulness means being aware of what’s happening inside us. It helps us see and understand our feelings. With mindfulness, we can say: “I am angry” or “I feel sad” — instead of letting those feelings control us.
🧘♀️🌿 Yoga helps us build mindfulness. When we practice yoga, we focus on our body, our breath, and each movement. Some yoga poses need a lot of concentration — like Tree Pose or Warrior III. In those moments, we cannot think about the past or future. We are fully present.
🌿🕉️ The more we practice yoga, the better we get at focusing and understanding ourselves. Every time we slow down and notice our breath or our body, we train our mind to observe, not to react. Over time, this helps heal the deep emotions inside us.
