元中医开张的第一天，一位朋友给我们送来一份礼物，上图的荷叶流水摆件，寓意【平和】。在中医里，平和代表阴阳平衡，也代表身心健康。元中医团队衷心感谢您给大家带来诚挚的祝福。

大家知道吗？其实荷叶、荷梗、莲子都是常用的中药材。荷叶可以清暑热、化湿气；荷梗可以理气和胃、减轻腹胀；常常出现在甜品里的莲子还具有养心安神、帮助睡眠的功效哦！

On the grand opening day of Jane TCM clinic, we received a lotus ornament as a gift from a friend. In the Chinese language, lotus has the same pronunciation as harmony and balance which is also an important concept in TCM.

Do you know that lotus leaves, lotus stems and lotus seeds are often used in Chinese herbal medicine? Lotus leaves can help to eliminate summer heat while lotus stems help in regulating qi n improve digestion. The lotus seeds that you often found in the dessert can help in treating insomnia.
