When stress or trauma isn’t fully processed, the body can remain in a state of survival even when there is no real danger present.

This can show up in ways that feel confusing or overwhelming. Anxiety, fatigue, overthinking, tension, or difficulty resting are often not random. They are signals from the nervous system.

The body is trying to protect, not work against you.

Somatic Experiencing is a body based approach that focuses on gently bringing awareness to these internal sensations. By slowing down and tuning into the body, the nervous system can begin to release stored stress and gradually return to balance.
