Popular question usually asked by clients when i do home feng shui audit:

where is my home wealth corner?

Answer:

traditionally it is known as the furthest distant measured diagonally from main door to the other end of living hall.

But actually this is a more layman explanation.

For more technical explanation, in fact, it depends on type of feng shui system one uses.

For instance, if you use flying stars system u will say the wealth corner is when facing star 9 is present.

If you use xuan kong liu fa system, u look at golden dragon positions.

If you use Xuan kong 64 hexagrams system u will look at period 9 hexagrams.

If you use San He feng shui the best for money is graveyard sector.

If you use fu xing stars system you will go for Ju Men (5-Ghost carry wealth).

If you use Qi Men feng shui you can use Grow door. Or Hurt door for pian cai.

If you dont want to learn any system, just stay in a house like MBS formation - water from far flows to you.

Etc etc.

What constitutes good fengshui?

In my many years of experience i attribute it to the following:

1. Main door in auspicious sector in Period 9
2. Kitchen stove sits on good flying stars combination like 18,81 or 99.
3. Bed head at auspicious sector
4. No sharp corners pointing from outside
5. No major missing corners or weird shape

And this unit my client purchased at Lumina Grand is able to satisfy all of the above after i advise them how to align the bed. Stove is already at correct sector. Main door too. Happy for them.

A hole in the middle.

In feng shui, as mentioned in my previous post about having sky well in the middle of a house, we do not like the middle heart to have a hole.

This building is a good example. I took this pic from 72 storey years ago.

This building (mostly patronised by audio system and vinyl records enthusiasts) was once having sleazy massage parlours at higher floor until they were clamped down.

It was in the news.

The building next to it is high court (with flat round structure).

Rune of the Week (20-27 April 2026): Thurisaz

This rune embodies the magick hammer of Thor.
It strikes to remove what is unjust. Like a boomerang, it returns to its owner—what goes around comes around. It is not a force to be used recklessly.

In Norse legend, Thor does not negotiate with chaos.
He meets it directly — with Mjölnir, the force that protects what is right and fair.

Thurisaz is the rune of protection. It guards the boundary with a simple statement: enough!

Beware, that this week may bring confrontation.
Pressure to act. Situations that test your strength to push back.

Not everything is meant to be smoothed over, because harmony cannot be built on pain and resentment. Certain things just must be stopped.

Remember, that Thurisaz is strong and super effective, but it is not some reckless force. Strike too early — you create damage. Wait too long — you lose ground. The right wind should take it in the right direction.

Timing must be exact. When using this rune, ask yourself:
Is this your moment to strike… or to hold the hammer still?

Xuan Kong Liu Fa feng shui emphasizes alot on Zhen Ling Shen application based on 2 cycles 8 Periods time cycle system.

Door is the incoming qi and table must receive the prosperous qi based on Period 9 calculation.

Liu Fa feng shui focuses on “one body one tai ji”.

A little shift of the table to the left or right will change the entire energy. It operates based on 15 degrees versus flying stars or Ba Zhai which operates based on 45 degrees.

Liu Fa feng shui is exceptionally useful when you are not able to determine the construction completion date of a house or office.

This system can be extended to use it for shopping complexes, town ship and even urban city planning based on water mouth.

The renovation is finally done for this company selling very unique looking lightings. I m here today to finalise the details on sales counter fengshui with respect to main door qi, sitting position of respective managers on their facing direction and will follow up with an official opening date in due course. All designs are based on Xuan Kong Liu Fa feng shui system.

In my career as a feng shui practitioner who provides Ba Zi and Vedic Astrology consults to my clients, quite a significant portion of them were quite unhappy with their current life when they came and saw me.

They have questions on their mind that they could not find answers for. Sometimes, such questions are quite philosophical and they linger on the meaning of life.

In many occasions, besides answering client's specific questions, the consult session led to helping clients to find out what they want in life, their deeper emotions and purpose in life based on their destiny chart.

I must say the most satisfying thing for me is to help the client to rediscover himself or herself and later help them to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Pre-empting clients on impending events is just part of the bigger picture of Ba zi reading. Yes, we can do fortune-telling and prediction but in my opinion, the most powerful thing about the study of ba zi is to help some of us come to terms with life.

It is therefore known as 八字命理学 in Chinese. The study encompasses addressing the logic, the meaning and philosophy of fate and destiny. Knowing that perhaps, will bring you slowly away from the notion of "Life Sucks".

So, just what are those real-life questions that people usually split-hair over it; and that ba zi can help to put things in perspective?

Let's take a look at below although not exhaustive:

-Why do my colleague get promoted faster than me even though I am equally hardworking, if not, more than him/her?

-Why am I not born with silver spoon and have to even pay for my own studies?

-I am in my 40's but still going nowhere. My friends and peers are already so successful in their career. Why?

-Why can't I have a more loving and capable husband like my best friend's or sister's husband?

-Why do the guys I date always end up cheating on me?

-Why must my children always go against me? Everything I do is for their good.

-Why do I have to always be sandwiched between my spouse and my mother? It is driving me crazy.

-Why everyone seems to pick on me even though I am trying to be nice?

-What is my purpose and goal in life? I can't see my future.

-Why did my most trusted business partner abscond with my money?

-Why am I suffering from such illness?

Sounds familiar?

These are sometimes inescapable situations that most of us will be put through by destiny. I believe we can improve on the situation if we know our destiny chart.

In the ancient text there is a mantra to help you deduce or validate against the birth hour of a person or child based on the person hair whorl.

The Chinese mantra is :

子午卯酉单顶门，或偏左边二三分，寅申巳亥亦单顶，偏居右去始为真，辰戌丑未是双顶。

In gist,

If there is only 1 hair whorl in the middle of the head the person has a high probability of being born in zi, wu, mao or you hour.

If there is only 1 hair whorl towards the right or left side of the head the person has a high probability of being born in yin, shen, si, hai.

If there are 2 hair whorls on the head the person has a high probability of being born in chen, xu, chou or wei hour.

I have a nephew who got 3. Which is not mentioned in the ancient text.

He is born in wu hour.

You can do your validation.

For me it is accurate.

Based on western astrology:

1989 - Saturn meets Neptune in Capricorn

2026 - Saturn meets Neptune in Pisces/Aries

And you can google to find out what major and significant world events had happened and are happening now.

Saturn is a karmic planet in the study of astrology and its role is to suppress you or teach you a life lesson.

Neptune is about the sea, deception, oil and gas and often gives rise to confusion.

One talks about having a structure and one has no boundaries.

2 opposing forces. So when they meet it often creates "earth-shaking" events.

In mid February 2026, they shifted to Aries (ruled by aggressive Mars) and hence it triggers the current situation.

After this year, they will only meet in 2061.

On a personal level, in your own natal chart, the conjunction of this 2 planets will definitely create some troubles for you.

It is a matter of intensity.

It depends on which of the 12 houses in your chart both planets go to.
