This is a session with in her final month before her first delivery.

We are working on releasing the tension around the as the grows bigger. And then some strengthening work on the muscle group around the so she feels stronger to walk around.

It’s great that she finds immediate pain relief during the session and able to walk better after the session.

This is an active stretch where pelvic stability is maintained to give your hip flexor a good stretch in order to achieve a superb hip extension.

Restoring is an important element as we age. Investing time together as a community to embrace gives you the platform to know you are not fighting alone. We are with you together on this journey, and life begins anew when you are above 50s 😉

Three key ingredients to reach your goal.

1. Desire
2. Diligence
3. Directions

Your desire will drive you to be determined and diligent to do the hard work, consistently.

But hard work won’t bring you to fruition unless you receive proper guidance. The pointed directions to correct your steps will get you closer to your goals. Correction is growth.

Thank you to my trainer .chee for patience to guide me to reach this phase for . Combining what I know in and science, am thrilled to get here before March enters ☺️.

Can you spot the difference in the knee joint in the “Before” and “After” photos?

Yes, the degree of in the left in the photo on the right is very much reduced.

How did the client do that? That’s the power of engaging the ! With the inner heel of the foot engaged, the is better supported. That correction prevents the knee from locking backwards.

Taking the time to feel the foot muscles when doing the exercises is powerful. Correction from the ground up could very well be the answer to some of the pains and aches up the chain.

I left the corporate world in 2019 after the final round of working on the . I’m finally taking the time to declutter my corporate attire. Had always wondered if I’ll use the suits and formal wear again.

I’ve grown so much during this period, especially so as a brick and mortar in and .

I’ve grown muscles, strengthened the lower back that spine doctor wanted to do a surgical intervention on. I’ve uprighted my posture, opened up my shoulders, reduced joint inhibitions that used to depend on acupuncture and massage therapy. Conquered front splits that I couldn’t master for the longest time.

So, am I surprised that more than 90% of the clothes that used to bring me to HNW events around the world, I can’t fit in anymore? How do I now select the clothes that I’ll keep?

For dress pants, doing a full squat test is the best. Did I burst anything? 🤭 And then I check if I can do a calisthenics pancake too. That gives me the flexibility, if need be, to get into rehab mode whenever wherever.

The process of decluttering is so good. Not only do I have less material goods around, it helped me see how much I’ve evolved and become.

Let’s gallop gracefully into the . 🈵🧧

Tenacity and grit, these two virtues are instrumental in helping you to persist through life’s . My taught me that.

Even at her age, she’s persisting with her to without hand support, and uprighting her spine.

Has it been easy? Not at all. Is it worth it? Totally.

Carving out time to rehab and exercise is the way to go as we embrace .

This photo was shot randomly while I was walking to show a friend I’m otw for our lunch. Incidentally, the grid on the floor gave me a clue on how my was looking. Actually pretty good alignment for a foot with - and this walk was after wearing Splays 2.0 for most parts of the morning while I was teaching. Here’s how a good can really make your day. Introducing a new to the usual routine for the consistent duet to add a to their .

Here, we are breaking down the steps and feeling the group activation for each movement. This is especially important to improve connection which will enhance the overall movement efficiency = movement with stability. When the body is in stability, we are able to move with joint centration - again, a critical point for anyone recovering from injury.

Yes, it’s a process. Once the body is familiar with the movement, we can increase speed or loading depending on the next layer of challenge then on the Pilates Reformer-Tower combo 😉.
