🚨 PSA: Updated Visiting Hours & Visitor Policy 🚨

From 19 January 2026, both SACH (Simei) and SACH (Bedok) will welcome caregivers and visitors daily from 8am–9pm, giving you more time for meaningful moments with your loved ones! 💙

Visitor limits apply:
• All wards: Up to 2 visitors per patient (excluding designated caregivers)
• Ward 11: Up to 5 visitors per patient (including designated caregivers)

Please remember to keep your masks on at all times while visiting.

St. Andrew's Migrant Worker Medical Centre (SAMWMC), a unit of SACH, provides Primary Care –under an MOM programme– to more than 100,000 migrant workers in the Construction, Shipyard and Process Manufacturing sectors, and those living in dormitories, within the Penjuru, Jurong, Bukit Batok, West Coast and Telok Blangah areas. In addition to primary care, we also provide donor-subsidised dental, physiotherapy and counselling care.

This morning, SAWMWC was blessed to be able to witness the opening of NESST Tukang Dormitory, which falls within SAMWMC's catchment, and for which we are starting to provide primary care.

Built by MOM, according to the latest dormitory standards, and opened by Minister for Manpower, Dr Tan See Leng, the dormitory has individualised spaces for dormitory beds, lots of recreation and food options, is optimised with technology and factors in plans for pandemic response. All this to uplift living standards without raising costs, for the good of the residents.

We are proud of our colleagues at St. Andrew’s Community Hospital (SACH) who were recognised today at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards (SHQSA) 2026.

Ms Law Yen Hoon, Head and Deputy Director, Healthcare Performance & Innovation Office, received the Superstar Award (Exemplar Leader – Administration) for her steady leadership and commitment to improving care for patients and supporting teams across SACH.

The CARE Team was also awarded the Best Team Award – Clinical Practice Improvement for their work in advancing person-centred dementia care.

We would also like to recognise and congratulate our colleagues who received Silver, Gold and Star Awards this year. Thank you for the care, professionalism and dedication you bring to your roles each day.

Together, these recognitions reflect the dedication, teamwork and compassion our colleagues at SACH bring to their work – caring with attention, respect and empathy for our patients and their families.

As we look ahead, we will continue caring with purpose and being a light in the communities we serve. 💙

What’s an HDB flat doing in our SACH (Bedok) Hospital? 🤔

The Activities of Daily Living (ADL) room is a facility regularly used by our Occupational Therapists (OTs) for our patients to practise their functional skills. This Singapore Occupational Therapists Day, we would like to show our appreciation to our OTs for restoring our patients’ confidence and independence. ✨

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Eastern General Hospital to our Bedok premises for a walkthrough and sharing session. We shared more about our care model and facilities, and discussed how we can work together to better support patients and the community in the East.
