Stress fractures, which are small cracks in the bone, occur when there is repetitive force exerted on the bones of the feet or ankles, and the muscles are unable to adequately cushion the impact.
Fortunately, stress fractures generally heal on their own with simple measures, such as ample rest of the injured area while it heals over 6-8 weeks.
In some cases, however, surgery may be needed to help the fracture heal properly.
An accredited orthopaedic specialist will be best suited to provide you personalised treatment advice.β¨π 6475 7177 / 9631 7637 (Call or WhatsApp)
