We have all done it at some point. From peeing before leaving the house, before a long drive somewhere to before entering the cinema “just in case” we need to hold it later. But constantly emptying your bladder unnecessarily can actually train it to be overactive.

The outlook often depends on whether the cancer has spread. Stage 4 occurs when the cancer extends beyond the prostate, either affecting nearby tissues or spreading to distant organs such as the bones or lymph nodes.
