Fall reflex??

Is your knee hurting?

There are many factors that affect your knee such as hip misalignment, previous injuries or falls, ankle sprains and other conditions.

Weakest joint in the body? 🦵

Our knee is one of the weakest joints in the body that is restricted on side to side motion like our hips. When our body is off-balanced from previous ankle sprains or back injuries, your knees will get affected as it will bear more pressure and weight on one side of the knee.

Knee is a hinge joint like a door that mainly allows flexion and extension (bending and straightening) of legs with minimum amount of rotation.

Therefore, a good exercise position is crucial especially when you are doing weight lifting exercises. This helps to prevent new injuries from lifting and putting pressure on knees.

Strengthening exercises for stability! 💪

These are great exercises that you can try to strengthen and stabilise for your lower limbs!

When the muscles are activated evenly with balanced spine and pelvic levels, strengthening exercises enables our body to get stronger, less weakness in the legs when walking or changing positions. This helps to prevent fall injuries as well.

This exercise helps you in strengthening:

• Core muscle
• Gluteus maximus muscle
• Quadricep muscle
• Pectoral muscle

Quick brain functioning test to try!
