Home habits! π
This is one of the most commonly seen habits at home when we are washing our dishes or brushing our teeth at home.
Standing on one leg affects your lower back, hip joints and knees over time due to rotation and one sided pressure on the body.
Habitual positions create muscle memory just like learning a sport or skill over time and our body amazingly goes back to the position when we are repetitively doing the action without thinking involved.
It is pretty hard to break the muscle memory especially if you have been doing certain actions in daily lives for a long time, which may contribute to your current discomfort and new injuries!
It is good to look around and watch out for your posture and make an important change for yourself!
However, even after changing these habits and still feeling the discomfort, it may mean that there might be some misalignments that could be contributing to your aches and pain. Feel free to reach out to ChiroTime and visit our friendly chiropractors.
