Homocysteine is another marker/predictor/warning for cardiovascular disease which is not regularly tested. If you have high cholesterol, it is worth testing for this too, as well as other markers like Hs-CRP, Apolipoproteins etc.

I am grateful to Hildegard of Bingen (famed 12th-century mystic), who taught me that there is a natural connection between kidney disease and digestive weakness. And arteriosclerosis begins with impaired kidney function. Following her advice and principles of diet, I was able to help a heart attack patient recover entirely.

How could a 12th-century uneducated nun know about this? She also describes how the liver disease is affected by sound. She describes how the liver circulates the blood into the lungs. Spirituality is the centre of our 7 Terrains of Healing and for good reason as it is at the heart ❤️ of our being.

Therefore it is important not to neglect your spiritual health, for true holistic healing to take place. 💜

I like how my Catholic faith teaches me that God is Love, that he has a plan for us all and to let his will be done in my life. 🌟
Every time I surrender and entrust myself to his plans, I find true peace, satisfaction and fulfillment. 😌
I can't say the same for the times I chose my own ways in my own ego/pride/stubbornness. These often led to suffering and regrets 🫠
