As we wrap up 2025, we are deeply grateful to have reached and helped pets and families around the world.
Last year, we took an important step forward by expanding our team through our growing network of global distributors—allowing us to reach more regions and support more cases than ever before.

To every pet whose life we’ve helped protect and to every recovery we’ve witnessed, we are reminded why we started this journey. Being part of something that once had no solution, and now offers hope, brings us immense joy and purpose.

To the pet owners we’ve had the privilege to help—thank you for trusting us. We would love for you to share your journey with us, so more families can find hope through your story.

As the new year begins, we look forward to reaching even more places, supporting more communities, and helping wherever we can.
Follow us as we continue to share knowledge, progress, and hope for animal health in the year ahead. 🐾✨

Happy New Year from all of us at Retromad1.

In our previous posts, we shared a video explainer on FIV. We hope those videos helped you gain a clearer understanding of what FIV is, how it affects cats, and how RetroMAD1 may support FIV-positive cats as part of their care.

Here’s a quick recap of the series, in case you’d like to save or pin this information for reference. We hope it gives you the key insights you need in one place.

For those who are new here—or haven’t followed us yet—stay connected. We’ll continue sharing more educational series on animal health, including how to read blood test results and insights into other infections.

🐾 One topic at a time, made easier to understand.

Welcome back to our FIV Awareness Series!
In the first two episodes, we explored what FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is, why every cat should be screened early, and how the virus slowly damages lymphocytes—leading to a weakened immune system, recurring infections, and, in severe cases, life-threatening complications.

In this 3rd video, we’ll guide you through how RetroMAD1® can be used to help control FIV infections.
Since FIV cannot be eliminated completely, virus control becomes the key to keeping your cat stable and improving their long-term quality of life.

RetroMAD1® is an antiviral formula used worldwide to support cats with various viral infections, including FIV. Thousands of pet owners have reported improvements in symptoms, appetite, energy levels, and overall immune stability after using RetroMAD1® as part of their vet-guided care plan.

If your cat is FIV-positive, this series is for you.
Let’s dive deeper into controlling FIV symptoms, and helping your cat live a healthier, happier life.

Now it’s time for our second video in the FIV Awareness Series! 🐾

Do you know what really happens inside your cat’s body when the FIV virus enters? 😿

When a cat gets infected with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), the virus targets the cat’s CD4+ T-cells and lymphocytes — the key soldiers of the immune system that defend against other infections. Over time, as these cells are destroyed, the immune system becomes weaker, leaving your cat more vulnerable to illness.

Sadly, cats cannot eliminate the virus on their own — once infected, it stays hidden in their immune cells.

💡 This is where RetroMAD1 plays an important role. It helps to halt the viral activity and protect the immune system, giving FIV-positive cats a better chance to live stronger and healthier lives.

Watch the full video to learn how FIV affects your cat’s body — and how science can make a difference. 💙

Have you ever been told that your cat has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) or feline AIDS?
We understand how worrying and frustrating that can feel. 💔

At RetroMAD1, our goal is to raise awareness and help pet owners better understand viral diseases that affect cats. That’s why we’re launching an FIV awareness series — to share knowledge, hope, and practical support for FIV cats. 🐾

In this first post, we’ve prepared an explainer video to help you understand what FIV really is.

Stay tuned for our next post, where we’ll talk about the symptoms, signs, and ways you can support your FIV-positive cat — including how RetroMAD1 may play a role in improving their quality of life. 💪❤️

Today we’re sharing a heartfelt story from one of our cat rescuer friends.

“As a cat rescuer, RetroMAD1 has truly been a lifesaver for me. 🐾

I’ve faced parvo outbreaks, cared for FeLV-positive cats, and even supported FIP cases with combination treatments. In those moments, when it felt like nothing could help, RetroMAD1 became the ray of hope I desperately needed.

Before discovering it, I was constantly worried and heartbroken, feeling helpless as I watched my cats struggle. But now, I finally have something that brings me peace of mind. 💙

It means so much to know that there’s an option out there that gives our cats a real fighting chance to survive and thrive. 🌟”

We’re always grateful to hear stories like this. They remind us why we do what we do — to bring hope, healing, and second chances to cats everywhere. 🐾💙

02/09/2025

Anemia is one of the toughest battles cats with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) can face. These viruses can damage the bone marrow and stop the body from making enough healthy red blood cells. Without enough oxygen in their system, a cat’s organs can’t work properly—and sadly, if left untreated, this can be fatal. 💔

But here’s the truth: FeLV and FIV are NOT death sentences. With early testing, proper care, and antivirals treatment, many cats go on to live happy, love-filled lives. 🐾

We’d love to hear your stories—have you helped a cat fight anemia, FeLV, or FIV? Your journey might give another pet parent the hope they need.

Let’s keep spreading awareness and fighting for our little warriors, one day at a time.

12/08/2025

Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is more than just an infection that weakens your cat’s immune system. This virus carries special genes that can interfere with your cat’s normal cell DNA.

When FeLV inserts its genetic material into a cell, it can activate or damage certain genes that control cell growth. These altered genes known as oncogenes can make cells grow uncontrollably, eventually leading to cancers &
tumors.
Don’t let the virus stay too long in the body- it needs to be halted early.

That’s why FeLV isn’t only linked to blood-related diseases like anemia, but also to certain cancers, including lymphoma. This dangerous process is called oncogenesis ; literally, the “creation of cancer.”

How to protect your cat:
✅ Regular FeLV screening
✅ Keep FeLV-positive cats indoors to prevent spread
✅ Vaccination for FeLV-negative cats
✅ Supportive care & antiviral options like Retromad1 when diagnosed
✅ Full blood tests to track disease progression once infected
✅ Monitor for unusual signs if your cat is positive FeLV — such as abnormal abscesses, lumps, or unexplained bleeding from the nose or other areas

*Why IV Fluids Matter for Sick Pets*

When pets become critically ill — whether due to anemia, FeLV, FIP, parvovirus, or during post-surgical recovery — IV fluid therapy plays a vital, life-saving role.

While treatments like blood transfusions are essential for anemia, IV fluids are equally important in:
✅ Supporting circulation
✅ Delivering nutrients and medications
✅ Stabilizing blood pressure
✅ Preventing organ failure

In cases like parvovirus, where vomiting and diarrhea cause rapid fluid loss, IV fluids help restore hydration and maintain internal balance — giving the body a fighting chance to recover.

Each type of IV fluid has its own specific function — from rehydrating to correcting electrolyte imbalances or managing shock. Your veterinarian will choose the most suitable option based on your pet’s condition.

If your pet shows signs of weakness, dehydration, or severe illness, don’t delay. Timely IV support can mean the difference between life and loss.

FeLV isn’t always a life sentence—especially for kittens.

🧡 Some may test positive early due to their mother’s antibodies, not because they’re truly infected.
⏳ That’s why vets recommend waiting and retesting at 6 months before making any heartbreaking decisions.

✨ And now, you have hope—RetroMAD1 offers an alternative to help control the virus.
With the right care and immune support, some kittens can live a full, healthy life.
They might even carry the virus in a regressive stage without getting sick.

Let’s save more lives—with knowledge, patience, and the right tools.
