Some Medications Associated with Potential Vision Damage:

* Corticosteroids (Prednisone, Triamcinolone): Long-term use is associated with glaucoma (eye pressure buildup) and cataracts.

* Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil): Used for autoimmune disorders; can cause retinal toxicity leading to irreversible vision loss.

* Weight Loss/Diabetes Drugs (Semaglutide/Ozempic/Wegovy): Some studies suggest a link to NAION, a rare condition that causes sudden, permanent vision loss, especially if taken for obesity.

* Tuberculosis Medications (Ethambutol, Isoniazid): Linked to toxic optic neuropathy.

* Antidepressants: Drugs like fluoxetine (Prozac) may cause significant short-term rises in intraocular pressure.

* Tamoxifen: Used for breast cancer, high doses can cause retinal damage.

* Acne Medications (Isotretinoin): Can cause severe dry eyes and, rarely, night blindness.

Symptoms to Monitor:
* Blurry or hazy vision
* Double vision
* Decreased night vision
* Sudden loss of vision

I’ve just completed an online professional development course on Prostate Diseases (benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer) and Erectile Dysfunction, offered by Harvard Medical School.

Conditions affecting prostate health and sexual function have a profound impact on men’s quality of life, yet are often under-discussed. Continuous learning in this area is essential to ensure care remains current, evidence-based, and patient-centred.

We present sequential axial brain MRI images of a male patient (born in 1949) obtained during dementia screening in February 2019 and December 2020. Between September and November 2020, the patient underwent five sessions of the HEAL Method™ cranial intervention at the HEAL Institute®.

If you are not a qualified and registered osteopath, please do not use the title. Misrepresenting yourself as an osteopath is not only unethical—it can be a serious offence in many countries.

I’ve seen individuals on social media attempting to mimic osteopathic techniques, likely from videos of others who also have no formal training. These techniques, when performed incorrectly, can result in serious injury or even death.

Osteopathic treatment requires rigorous education, clinical training, and a deep understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and safety precautions. Respect the profession—and more importantly, respect the safety of others.
