Earlier this month, leaders in hematologists and transfusion medicine doctors convened at the Perhimpunan Hematologi dan Transfusi Darah Indonesia National Congress (PHTDI) 2026, held in Semarang.

Under the theme “Blood and Beyond”, the congress brought together experts, innovators, and healthcare professionals from across Indonesia and international institutions to explore the future of hematologic care — from advanced diagnostics and molecular developments to cellular therapy, oncology integration, stem cell transplantation, and transfusion medicine. Beyond scientific exchange, it reflected a growing regional collaboration that translates knowledge into real-world clinical impact.

Through our booth presence and product presentation in Workshop B session: "Essential Skill in Apheresis System Setup and Clinical Indications", Transmedic engaged clinicians in applied discussions on donor and therapeutic apheresis. The session showcased solutions from Haemonetics , INFOMED Blood purification devices, and Jafron Biomedical - supporting evolving clinical needs in blood management and purification.

Last week, our Transmedic Hong Kong team took part in the World Heart Day Carnival Cum Run for Heart, joining clinicians, institutions, and the wider community in a shared commitment to cardiovascular health.

Held at the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village, the event brought purpose beyond the workplace. Six of our colleagues competed in the 3 km Corporate Cup, combining advocacy, teamwork, and a bit of friendly competition in support of heart health.

We would like to congratulate all team members in finishing the run, to Nathan for achieving 2nd Runner Up, and to the entire team for the energy and camaraderie they brought to our first open team competition in Hong Kong.

Moments like these remind us that advancing cardiovascular care is not only about technology and innovation, but also about people, partnership, and showing up for the communities we serve.

Leadership in healthcare is not always about introducing something new. Often, it is about helping clinicians see existing options more clearly.

At the 18th Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society Congress, held with the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Congress, our Transmedic Ophthalmology team participated as a Venti Sponsor, engaging surgeons in thoughtful, experience-led conversations across the ophthalmic spectrum.

Discussions around Teleon IOLs, STAAR ICL, iStent Infinite, Ahmed Glaucoma Valves, Healaflow, and hands-on exploration through our Dry Eye Suite reflected a shared priority: making informed choices that serve patients over the long term.

Last month, Transmedic Thailand hosted a Y90 Dosimetry Masterclass in office, creating a focused space for clinicians to explore the practical considerations of Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT). Over two days, discussions moved from patient selection and evolving clinical insights to real-world case examples, complemented by hands-on planning using MIM SurePlan LiverY90.

By bringing together clinical perspectives and application expertise, the sessions became a meaningful exchange of shared learning. They highlighted how thoughtful dosimetry planning can support greater confidence in treatment decisions and ultimately influence patient outcomes.

2025 has been a year defined by focus, collaboration, and care. Across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, our teams have continued to support healthcare professionals, partners, and patients by connecting the world’s leading healthcare solutions with the needs of our people—delivering safe, high-quality care with consistency and purpose in an evolving healthcare environment.

We thank Kristine James for her leadership and contributions over the past 2.5 years at Transmedic and wish her every success as she commences the next chapter of her journey with the wider EBOS MedTech group of companies in Sydney, Australia.
