MEDICAL DEVICES DISTRIBUTION & HIGHLY SPECIALISED DRUGS

In Asia, we have seen the emergence of informed, tech-savvy patients who use the Internet to research their options for medical treatment. This new group values their time, mobili

ty and comfort, and wants ways to reduce downtime and avoid hospitalization if possible. Transmedic understands their concerns and has endeavoured over the last 4 decades to become the top specialist in the advanced medical technology arena in Asia. We believe that these technologies can genuinely impact the quality of healthcare and significantly improve patient recovery times. EDUCATION & TRAINING

We are deeply committed to education, and invest heavily in training for doctors, technology promotion and patient education. We also regularly sponsor and help to organise medical conferences, exhibitions, symposiums and workshops for healthcare professionals to exchange findings and build networks. POST-SALES SUPPORT

Besides technology introduction, we are also deeply involved in implementation and maintenance. We believe in providing the post-sale support necessary to extract the most value out of the machines; in the process forming long-term links with the best healthcare practitioners in the industry.

Myopia affects up to 80% of young adults across parts of Southeast Asia — and the numbers are still rising. With ICL surgery emerging as a leading solution for moderate to high myopia, equipping surgeons with the skills to meet this demand has never been more critical.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the ophthalmic community, we were proud to sponsor a Refractive Workshop & Wet Lab at OasisEye Specialists, Kuala Lumpur — bringing together over 40 ophthalmologists at every stage of their ICL journey.

Structured to build both knowledge and hands-on confidence, the day included:

- Comprehensive grounding in ICL product knowledge and full perioperative management
- Small-group wet lab rotations with expert surgical guidance
- Open sharing of surgical pearls and real-world best practices
- Dedicated support for new adopters building procedural competence

When experienced surgeons and new learners train side by side, the entire field moves forward — and ultimately, so do patient outcomes.

We are grateful to OasisEye Specialists and our partner, STAAR Surgical, for making this possible. We look forward to continuing to support the ophthalmic community across the region.

Surpassing 100 patients treated with the CyberKnife® system in the Philippines marks a significant milestone in the journey of advancing precision cancer care for Transmedic .

Since the first installation at Asian Hospital and Medical Center, this milestone reflects more than clinical progress — it signals growing confidence in precision, non-invasive radiotherapy and the continued expansion of advanced treatment options for patients in the region.

With each case shaped by clinical expertise, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the steady evolution of technology in practice, these experiences contribute to deepening clinical knowledge and refining the future of precision treatment.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our partner, Accuray, as well as Dr Beaver Tamesis, Dra Cora Ngelangel, and Dr Enrico Tangco for their continued collaboration and commitment to advancing cancer care in the region.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward with momentum — to expanding access, deepening clinical collaboration, and continuing to support better outcomes for patients across the Philippines and beyond.

Over 400 oncology professionals. Two days of deep clinical exchange. One shared goal — advancing cancer care.

Transmedic was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Philippine Radiation Oncology Society (PROS) 2026 Convention, held last month. As one of the country’s largest annual gatherings for radiation oncologists, medical physicists, RTTs, and nurses, it remains a key platform where ideas, innovation, and clinical practice converge.

This year’s conversations centred on the future of precision radiotherapy — from image guidance and adaptive workflows to the growing role of particle therapy. Beyond the sessions, the convention opened doors to meaningful discussions with clinical leaders, offering valuable insights into evolving needs and opportunities for collaboration.

With the strong support of our partner, C-Rad, we continue to drive meaningful progress in radiation oncology — staying focused on what matters most: enabling better patient outcomes through shared expertise and innovation.

Our Transmedic Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) team successfully concluded another edition of “S-ICD: Beyond Conventional Approaches in Defibrillation,” a program made possible by the leadership and expertise of our esteemed instructors, A/Prof Tan Vern Hsern and A/Prof Colin Yeo from Changi General Hospital.

Their dedication to clinical education was instrumental in hosting clinical peers from Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, fostering a vital regional exchange of knowledge. The curriculum featured an immersive combination of cadaver-based training and lectures, as well as interactive case discussions where participants shared complex clinical experiences to enhance peer-to-peer learning.

During the workshop, we were also proud to celebrate a significant milestone with the CGH team: 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗦-𝗜𝗖𝗗 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀. This achievement reflects our shared commitment to providing innovative technology for patients who benefit from subcutaneous ICD therapy.

We extend our sincere thanks to Sister Irene Him, Sister Sasi, and the entire Changi General Hospital Catheterisation Laboratory team for their continued partnership and excellence. We also value the ongoing collaboration with Samuel Goh and Rena Lim from Boston Scientific, and GE Healthcare in supporting these essential training initiatives.

Transmedic remains dedicated to strengthening clinical capabilities across the ASEAN region and supporting the medical community in delivering the highest standards of cardiovascular care.

At our recent townhall, The Heartbeat, our CEO Shawn Lee spoke to all employees from all 7 geographies, and we came together to discuss what’s next for Transmedic.

With growing momentum across the business, expanding teams, our focus is on building a culture that keeps getting stronger, and allows us to confidently step into our next phase of growth.

At our Singapore headquarters, we took a moment to celebrate — to pause from the day-to-day, connect with one another, and enjoy a small, thoughtful gesture of appreciation.

It was more than just a celebration — it was the conversations, the laughter, the simple connections that remind us why we work together every day.

Because Transmedic has always been about our people — our teams, the healthcare professionals, and the partners we work alongside. And it’s these moments, these shared experiences, that bring our identity to life.

Bringing together experts from across Asia, the inaugural “Beyond the Masterclass: ASD/PFO Device Closure – Asian Collaboration” marked a significant step in advancing regional dialogue on structural heart interventions, with Transmedic Philippines proudly supporting the event as a Platinum Sponsor.

Co-sponsored with our partner, Abbott, the platform convened leading specialists to exchange perspectives, deepen clinical insights, and shape evolving approaches in ASD and PFO device closure. A highlight for Transmedic was engaging directly with these experts and officially introducing the Abbott Amplatzer Piccolo Occluder and Abbott Amplatzer Talisman PFO Occlusion System, reinforcing our commitment to advancing structural heart care in the region.

We sincerely extend our gratitude to the Philippine Heart Centre, the organising committee, our partners at Abbott, and all participating physicians for fostering collaboration and driving meaningful clinical progress.
