The Urology Siriraj Annual Meeting (USAM) 2025 presented a meaningful platform for Transmedic to deepen engagement with Thailand’s urology community and elevate the conversation around targeted prostate cancer therapy. Held at Siriraj Hospital — one of Thailand’s most influential teaching and referral hospitals — the two-day scientific meeting brought together regional leaders, clinician innovators, and researchers to advance clinical insights in prostate cancer management.

A key highlight for us was organising a dedicated workshop featuring Koelis Targeted Microwave Ablation (TMA) and the Barrigel re**al spacer — two advanced medical technologies that are igniting growing interest, confidence, and clinical adoption in precision-driven focal therapy.

In partnership with Koelis, we also initiated plans to establish ASEAN’s first TMA Training and Reference Centre at Siriraj Hospital, marking a significant milestone in developing a structured regional hub for clinical training, peer learning, and expertise exchange in focal therapy.

We remain committed to collaborating with healthcare institutions and medical professionals to strengthen training pathways, drive technology adoption, and support the advancement of urologic care across Thailand and the wider region.

Since establishing our partnership with HistoSonics earlier this year, Transmedic has been actively strengthening regional engagement for the HistoSonics Histotripsy System. As the next highlight in this series of initiatives, Transmedic and HistoSonics recently participated in the 10th Biennial Congress of the Asian-Pacific Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, giving hepatopancreatobiliary specialists a close-up view of this innovative, non-invasive technology in action.

Across the three-day congress, specialists had the opportunity to experience histotripsy first-hand — observing its unique mechanism of action, exploring its current applications in the treatment of liver lesions, and discussing its exciting potential for future clinical use. The demonstrations encouraged meaningful conversations and insights, highlighting how this technology is reshaping liver therapy and advancing patient care across the Asia–Pacific region.

Events such as A-PHPBA 2025 underscore Transmedic’s continued commitment to introducing breakthrough therapies and supporting clinicians with solutions that enhance precision, safety and accessibility in patient care.
