What an incredible evening of learning and connection we had at the UFIT CBD Hub last Thursday, 13 November 2025!

We were privileged to host a small group educational session and networking dinner featuring expert speaker, Dr. Christopher Pearce, Sport Injuries and Orthopaedic Specialist in Foot and Ankle. His insightful presentation on Ankle Instability provided invaluable, practical knowledge for managing and preventing a common yet complex condition.

Educational Session & Networking Lunch Highlights

On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, we had the pleasure of sharing an educational session and networking lunch with our care partner Heartland Rehab & City Rehab. The event welcomed over 30 attendees from different outlets, all eager to learn and engage with our orthopaedic specialists.

Our speakers shared their expertise on crucial musculoskeletal topics:

🔹 Dr Gavin O’Neill, Orthopaedic Specialist in Knee & Hip
– Management of knee cartilage injuries
– Management of hip pain

🔹 Dr Christopher Pearce, Orthopaedic Specialist in Foot & Ankle

Here’s a quick guide to help you decide.

𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙮𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚:

- Soreness after exercise that fades with a day of rest.
- Mild stiffness in the morning that goes away after you start moving.
- Discomfort that's manageable with an ice pack or a gentle stretch.
