Established since 1980, Lions Home For The Elders is one of Singapore’s leading eldercare service providers in the community. Our two nursing homes are located at Bishan and Bedok South, with the capacity to house 384 residents. Community Guidelines:

🐻💖 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀, 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 💖🐾

Thanks to the kindness of Lions Club of Singapore (LCS) Vanda, and Extra•Ordinary People, our residents at Bishan Home received the sweetest holiday surprise on 16 December 2025 — adorable teddy bears. The initiative is part of Extra•Ordinary People’s Bears For Good campaign, which supports children and youth with special needs.

Each teddy bear came with its own “adoption” certificate, making the gift extra special and bringing smiles, comfort, and warmth to our residents this festive season. Warm smiles were aplenty as the residents met their new fluffy companions, adding a new layer of warmth to both our Bishan and Bedok Homes in time for Christmas. 🧸✨

LCS Vanda also generously sponsored several Meta Pets for Lions Home — innovative mechanical companions that look and feel like real cats or dogs. Easy to care for and full of charm, these furry friends provide companionship, engagement, and emotional comfort for our seniors. 🐶🐱

Our heartfelt thanks to Lions Club of Singapore Vanda and Extra•Ordinary People for spreading so much joy and love through these meaningful, thoughtful gifts! 💙

𝗔 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 - 𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆! 🍲 😋

On 17 December, our residents enjoyed a very special Kopitiam session — a heart-warming steamboat feast made extra special with premium ingredients generously donated by the Lions Club of Singapore (LCS) Tanah Merah. Prepared with care by our dedicated kitchen team, the spread featured favourites like sea cucumber, tiger prawns, and abalone, and was enjoyed bite by bite in great company.

The afternoon was made even more meaningful with the presence of volunteers from LCS Tanah Merah, including Past District Governor (PDG) Lesa Gan, who spent time sharing conversations and laughter with our residents. 💛

Our heartfelt thanks to PDG Lesa Gan and the wonderful members of LCS Tanah Merah for their generosity, kindness, and for treating our residents to such a festive and memorable meal!

Our Year-End Celebrations at Lions Home For The Elders are always a time of joy and cheer for all our residents and staff. 🎉

In a true reflection of the Christmas spirit, the residents and staff shared the festivities with one another, with laughter and warm connections abounding at both our Bishan and Bedok homes.

These encouraging words from the International President of Lions Clubs International, Lion A.P. Singh, captured the spirit of his visit to Lions Home For The Elders on Saturday, 13 December. We were honoured to host Lion A.P. Singh and Lions Clubs members from across Singapore at our Bishan Home.

During the visit, we shared a short presentation on the work of Lions Home, followed by a ward tour that offered a close look at our residents’ daily lives and the thoughtful use of innovative care technologies.

Lion A.P. Singh’s praise was a meaningful affirmation of the compassion, dedication, and care shown by our team each day.

We are grateful to Lion A.P. Singh for his visit and for his kind recognition of the work we do.

The end of the year is often a time of joyful celebrations, gift giving, and warm connections. This is no different for all our seniors at Lions Home For The Elders, with our year-end parties being a lively time for them to celebrate the year with each other and our staff! 🎁

Held at both our Bishan and Bedok homes on 10 and 12 December respectively, our year-end parties were filled with many fun moments. From dance performances, gift giving, and even creative games devised by the staff, laughter and joy was in abundance for both our residents and staff members.

To all of us at Lions Home, there is nothing more joyful than seeing our residents’ smiles and hearing their laughter. For the seniors are more than beneficiaries; they are like family to us.
