When I first walked into .sg , it struck me as more than just a venue. There was something about the air of the place, calm yet alive, quiet yet carrying so many stories.

The word maia comes from Greek meaning “mother,” “nurse,” and “growth.” That already says so much. This is a space where doulas walk alongside people through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood. A space where the beginnings of life are held with care and dignity.

But it also feels like more than that. To me, MAIA House carries the weight of existence. It is not only about birth or endings, but about everything in between, the uncertainty, the change, the transformation. It feels like a space that honours the thresholds we all cross as human beings.

That is what makes it such a special place. It reminds me that existence is not something we can hold still. It moves, it grows, it shifts. We are always becoming.

And so it feels right to gather here. Our first existential workshop will be held at MAIA House, in a space that already embodies life, growth, and the questions of existence itself.

We are so grateful for the wonderful feedback from our first Something’s Coming Up For Me.

This time, we are bringing you the smaller, more intimate circle you asked for.

Now we are back with the SECOND in the series and this time it is all about WORDS.

We will again have the opportunity to sit in a circle and get a taste of what it is like to process things with one another. We will also have more time for open dialogue about what a process group really is, and space to answer your questions.
