🌿 Did you know that ancient languages of the British Isles had no word for “Nature”?

Because there was no separation.
No “us” and “nature.”
No other.

We belonged inside the living world… not outside looking in.

It wasn’t until much later — as language became shaped by trade, ownership, and transaction — that “Nature” became something external… something we could label, define, and call “it.”

But in Welsh, there is a word that still carries the older remembering:

✨ Anian — the nature within us.
The living flow of life moving through me.

A reminder that we are not separate from the trees, the animals, the rivers, the soil…

We are in relationship.
We are kin.
We are part of the same breath.

And maybe… this is the remembering the Earth has been waiting for. 🌍💚

Who else feels like they’re already full steam ahead this year… and it’s only just begun?

So many of us are living in a constant state of go.
Holding, creating, leading, caring, showing up.
Our nervous systems quietly doing their best to keep pace.

This is exactly why the Elemental Awakening Sri Lanka Retreat was born.

Not as an escape — but as a regulation.
SERENITY
A softening.
A remembering of what it feels like to move at the speed of breath, water, and sunlight.

Here, your nervous system is gently invited out of survival mode and into safety.
Mornings that begin slowly.
Practices that soothe rather than stimulate.
Nature that holds you without asking anything in return.

This retreat is for the part of you that’s tired of being “on.”
For the body that longs to exhale.
For the soul that knows rest is not a reward — it’s a necessity.

If your system is craving spaciousness, warmth, and deep nourishment…
This might be your invitation.

So often, we assume:
“If I just find my people… then I’ll be okay.”
“If I just feel more included… then I’ll belong.”
“If I just fix my relationships… then the loneliness will disappear.”

🌸But what if the deepest belonging doesn’t begin out there?
What if it begins within?🌸

For much of my life, I didn’t feel like I belonged.
Growing up in a small rural town in South Africa, acceptance felt fragile — shaped by judgement, religious and social hierarchy, and the fear of not being “enough.”

Driven by approval, I chose the expected path:
a respectable career as a Chartered Accountant, a polished life, ticking all the boxes.

Yet underneath it all, my social anxiety grew.
Alcohol became a crutch at gatherings.
Burnout and depression became familiar companions.

Even when I was surrounded by people, loneliness followed me.
That pain became a catalyst — a whisper turning into a roar:
Something had to change… and it had to start with me.

🌿One of the most healing discoveries was that belonging isn’t only found in people…
It can be found in presence.
In stillness.
In nature.

🌿Nature asked nothing of me.
The trees didn’t need me to perform.
The ocean didn’t require me to be fixed.

🌿And slowly… I began to belong again.
Not to a role.
Not to expectations.
But to myself.
And from that self-acceptance, something beautiful happened:

I began attracting people who were truly on my wavelength.
Connection became authentic, not performative.

Belonging isn’t only about finding the right people.
It’s about finding your way back to yourself — and letting connection follow from that place.

💛 If this resonates, and you’d like support in reconnecting with yourself through mindfulness, nature-based practices, or meaningful group experiences, you’re very welcome to reach out.

🌿 Honouring the Seasons Within Us: Imbolc & Lughnasadh 🌾

Wherever we are in the world right now, the Earth is turning…
and the Wheel of the Year offers us a powerful reminder:

We are always living in cycles.

In the Northern Hemisphere, we arrive at Imbolc — the festival of first light, renewal, and emergence.
Imbolc means “in the belly,” a time when life is stirring deep beneath the surface, not yet visible, but quietly becoming.

This season honours Brigid, maiden goddess of healing, poetry, and sacred flame.

Imbolc invites the enquiry:

✨ What is awakening within me?
🌱 What fragile dream needs gentle nurturing?
🎯 What seeds am I truly called to focus on?

It is not yet the time to rush outward —
but to listen inward, gathering clarity and intention.

Meanwhile, in the Southern Hemisphere, we meet Lughnasadh (Lughnasa) — the first harvest.
A celebration of abundance, gratitude, and the fruits of our labour.

This festival honours Lugh, radiant being of skill, illumination, and the sun’s life-giving energy.

Lughnasadh asks:

🌻 What is ready to be harvested and celebrated?
🍞 What has come into fruition — big or small?
🔥 What has been learned or sacrificed along the way?

In our fast-paced culture, we often move from one cycle to the next without pausing to savour.
Yet these seasonal thresholds remind us:

Abundance is not just productivity.
It is presence. Joy. Connection. Gratitude.

Wherever you are in the world —
may you honour what is beginning…
and cherish what is ripe.

✨ If Glastonbury is whispering to you, trust that call.

Here, you’re not escaping life — you’re relearning how to meet it.

The land offers:
• Space away from digital noise and constant decision-making
• A rhythm that supports rest, reflection, and integration
• Walking meditation through ancient sites that awaken perspective
• Collective ritual that gently dissolves isolation
• Time to listen without interruption — to your body, your truth, your next step

A retreat in Glastonbury creates a pause with purpose.
One where insights don’t just arrive — they land, root, and become usable in everyday life.

This isn’t about believing in the magic.
It’s about giving yourself the conditions where clarity, healing, and renewal are more likely to happen.

✨ If you’re craving depth and grounded change, this land knows how to hold you.

Come walk the land, feel the threads of remembrance, and let yourself be changed by listening.
