Final day to participate in our survey - https://bit.ly/SALTS-transd-survey

SALTS is actively engaging with the Ministry of Health (MOH) to represent our profession’s perspectives on the proposed transdisciplinary training pathways.

To do this effectively, we need a comprehensive data set to determine if these mandates align with clinical standards and quality of care.

We are calling on all Speech Therapists to provide your perspectives. This survey is the mechanism to ensure future training is grounded in evidence and practice, rather than policy alone.

Help us by speaking up, so we can speak out.

"Helping a child feel heard, understood, and included is what keeps me grounded." ✨

Meet Ruth Lee, a Speech and Language Therapist who is making a difference in the lives of deaf children in Singapore. In our latest feature, Ruth takes us behind the scenes of her daily work—from pull-out sessions on literacy to exploring Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) for students with diverse needs.

💡 Did you know? One big misconception Ruth highlights is that supporting deaf children is just about translating spoken words into sign. In reality, Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) has its own unique grammar and structure, requiring a deeper understanding to truly support a child's learning journey.
