Our Intergenerational Baking and Handicraft Programme, launched at RedMan by Phoon Huat in Northshore Plaza, Punggol, was recently spotlighted by Lianhe Zaobao. 📰

The feature highlights our partnership with Connexions - Integrated Learning Hub to foster an inclusive society and create sustainable micro-job opportunities. Through this initiative, seniors from PCS Active Ageing Centres (AACs) and students with special needs from Connexions come together to co-create festive Christmas cookies and handicrafts—empowering both generations to learn, create, and connect.

The launch was officiated by MP for Punggol GRC, Yeo Wan Ling, with support from Phoon Huat Pte Ltd who provided the baking studio space.

Throwback to Good Life Conference 2025. Here are the key takeaways of participants who attended 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝟑: 𝑬𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑨𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑵𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔🌟

Participants shared positive feedback on how the workshop deepened their understanding of what it truly means to be ready-for-work. Instead of focusing solely on job-specific skills, the session explored how developing thinking and social capabilities can empower individuals with special needs to adapt and thrive in dynamic workplace

Our presenter, Dr Lucy Pou also introduced the evidence-based 𝑨𝑻@𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌 (𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌) programme based on the 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 (𝑴𝑳𝑷𝑭), which aims to build flexibility of mind and real-world problem-solving skills.
