We are pleased to welcome Shelly Anne Sherwood to OptiMove (formerly Lifescan Physio) as a Principal Physiotherapist. Based at TripleOne Somerset, she brings over 20 years of clinical experience in neonatal and paediatric rehabilitation.
Shelly began her physiotherapy career in the early 2000s and has extensive experience across hospital and outpatient clinical settings. She spent 14 years at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to clinical care, staff education, and service development in neonatal and paediatric physiotherapy.
In Singapore, she is one of the few Certified Neonatal Therapists (CNT) accredited by the Neonatal Therapy Certification Board (USA). Shelly is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Neonatology at the University of Southampton, UK.
Her clinical approach is grounded in early intervention, family-integrated models of care, and close collaboration with caregivers. She places strong emphasis on education, empowerment, and partnership with families, recognising the vital role caregivers play in supporting a child's care and recovery.
At OptiMove, Shelly provides neonatal physiotherapy and paediatric rehabilitation services tailored to each child’s needs, working closely with families to support infants and children through critical stages of growth and development.
