Swipe to see highlights from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — much of the topics of the scientific program focused on Asian skin including treating hyperpigmentation and acne.

I was also privileged to moderate the key panel on how digital platforms are reshaping patient education, a topic very close to my heart as a clinician-educator.

For the full recap and key takeaways from Skin Alliance, read my blogpost on this event – link in bio ⬆️

Skin Alliance is a global medical education forum for healthcare providers held in Paris every 2 years. This year, Skin Alliance held its first regional seminar in KL for dermatologists and aesthetic doctors from Malaysia and Singapore. I was invited to moderate a key panel on digital communication in dermatology, and it was a great opportunity to learn from leading skin experts in the region. From Nickelodeon sweetheart to Grammy-winning singer, and now Glinda the Good Witch, Ariana Grande has grown up in front of the world, and with the Wicked premiere landing in Singapore today, it’s the perfect moment to look at how her features have evolved over the years.

She’s openly shared about having had Botox and fillers in the past — and the honesty is refreshing. But if you’ve noticed bigger changes in her facial structure beyond injectables, you’re not alone. has been publicly speculated to have undergone rhinoplasty; among other plastic surgeries.

As always, my goal is not to judge but for us to understand how aesthetics, aging, and styling choices can shape our appearances.
