Good Pathways We offer training, therapy and consultation services to children, families and service providers. We recognize there is no single pathway for every family.

Good Pathways was conceived out of a desire to improve the lives of children and their families. At the same time, when individuals and families encounter trouble, a natural response is to shy away from others. We offer you the opportunity to journey together with us, as you search for solutions that will fit your experience and to further expand the options available to you. At Good Pathways, we offer training, therapy and consultation services to children, families and service providers. Our areas of specialization include play therapy, attachment-focused family therapy, child advocacy, family group conference and clinical supervision. Our short term goal is to provide therapeutic services to children and families in the community. In time to come, our long term goal is to be a respected and valued play therapy service in Singapore. We foresee that the demand for play therapists is growing in early childhood and education sectors. There is a growing need to establish a system of on-going training and support for play therapists. Let’s Talk Adoption!
On 1 July 2023 We had our very first collaboration workshop with Home For Good SG (HFG). HFG is a charity organisation that aims to make fostering and adoption a core ministry in the community and to support and resource foster families.

During the workshop we got to talk more about the post adoption journey by exploring the topics on Identity , Search and Discovery.

Thank you HFG for the preparation work and thought that have been put into the workshop!! We would like to thank all the participants who came and shared their time, experiences and even personal concerns with the group today.

We are also thankful for .sg for providing such a beautiful and cozy environment for this workshop.

About Us

Good Pathways was conceived out of a desire to reintroduce play to children and their families. Its founder, Elaine, had a wonderful childhood and her dream is that every child who walks through the doors of Good Pathways, can leave with a bounce in their step. Grace is equally passionate to bring play back into the family. Elaine and Grace are trained social workers and therapeutic play therapists. There is a saying : Not all children need play therapy but all children definitely need to play.

We have seen enough families to know how difficult it is to remain spontaneous and playful when life gets stressful and busy. Hence, we love to meet up with parents through talks and workshops, outdoor events and in customised individual sessions.

Where circumstances require, we are able to provide specialized services for children and adolescents who struggle with grief, loss, transitions due to death and divorce, stress and anger management, anxiety-related difficulties, maladaptive and destructive patterns of behaviour and communication.
