Scenes from our recent workshop “Beyond Posture & Pain” conducted by Li Feng 🏃‍♂️

We explored movement mechanics from spine to feet, looking at how pressure, tension, breathing, and joint position influence the way the body organises itself. Instead of chasing “good posture,” we focused on recognising patterns, testing changes, and observing real-time responses.

Through theory, live demonstrations, and hands-on exploration, participants learned how small adjustments in setup can lead to meaningful changes in movement quality — without forcing cues or rigid positions.

As we come to the end of 2025, we just want to say thank you.

I’ve seen all the “posture fix” videos — here’s what actually works (and what doesn’t 👀).

Good posture isn’t about standing tall. It’s about how well your body moves when you’re not thinking about it.
So instead of chasing perfect form, build awareness and control — your posture will follow.

Pause first.

Your body’s still reconnecting from the inside out.
Start with breath, alignment, and gentle control — not crunches or HIIT.

Let’s face it, we are living in a world with more people clinging on passive lifestyle and electronic devices, and many elderlies are lacking regular exercises to keep them healthy. Even young ones are getting addicted to playing computer games instead of physical games. This has lead to many people placing their body in bad shape and postures and maintain for a long time! That is why we at Balance Core are determined to help them restore the balance in their body and in life!

Our assessment and treatment approach was founded by Mr Michael Yan who has been in the profession for over 19 years and evolved from helping thousands of patients. Unlike traditional treatment which is mainly focusing on the presenting signs and symptoms, our approach takes a holistic view of each person and identify the root problems that has led to the current presentation. We help our clients address both their symptomatic areas as well as other contributing areas. Through an individualized and systematic program, we help even people with chronic pain over 20 years to be pain free in just one to two months.

Not just we focus on pain relief, by restoring the integrative balance of the body, we get to play sports and work at the most efficient manner, and that can help any individual perform at their top level.
