- Cope with stressful experiences at work or home, including managing pain and illnesses.
- Better navigate difficult emotions such as anger, fear and anxiety.
- Improve sleep quality.
- Letting go of worries about the future and being in the present moment.

The eight-week MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) programme stands out as one of the most established and widely recognised mindfulness programmes. Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn developed MBSR in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Center for Mindfulness.
