Thanks to our new Garoo autonomous “follow me” wheelchair, we can bring more residents to enjoy the outdoors at one time. 🌤

Happy new year!
Feeling thankful for all the Care staff who have given up much to stand their post in caring for our seniors despite being homesick, enduring split teams arrangements, not being able to relax and socialize as before.

Also extremely grateful for our lovely seniors and their loved ones who understood the situation and supported us thru words of encouragement, texts, food and fruit deliveries to brighten our days. Your support meant so much to us. Thank you!

2020 has definitely been a trying one for all. Many jobs affected, relationships strained especially during CB etc.

Beyond the difficulties, there are also many successes. Sg is in Phase 3, our leaders managed to get the vaccines and the vaccination program is underway in orderly manner, we see the strength of our humanity at its best at the peak of the outbreak... there are indeed many things to be thankful for.

Hope the new year brings a renewed sense of hope and focus for us to build on what we have accomplished together this year and strive for even better in the coming year. Wishing you a wonderful year ahead!

Updated Visitor Policy as at 2 April 2020
1. No Visitors to Nursing Home
In view of the recent risks of community transmission, with effect from 2 April 2020, no visitors (eg. caregivers and volunteers) will be allowed to enter all nursing homes including The Lentor Residence so as to reduce the importation risk of COVID-19 into the Nursing Homes.

2. Video chats or phone calls available to all residents daily.
Please email us at evisit@lentorhealth.com to schedule the video/phone call. In the email, please share with us your preferred way of getting connected.

As the number of unlinked cases continue to rise in Singapore, The Lentor Residence (TLR) is taking further precautions to safeguard our residents in addition to the temperature taking and screening of all visitors.

1. Closure of basement carpark
We will be closing our basement carpark to ALL visitors from 2 April 2020 to prevent bypassing of the designated visiting area at Level 1 Terrace. Visitors are advised not to drive to TLR. Public bus services to Lentor Avenue are 851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 857 and to alight at Bullion Park Condo bus stop.

2. New visiting hours: 11am – 5:30pm
Please note that the visiting hours will be changed to 11am-5:30pm daily effective 2 April 2020. Current measures of only 1 visitor per resident at 1 time, at Level 1 terrace area, not more than 30mins is still in effect.

3. Video Chat in lieu of physical visit
TLR management would like to strongly encourage ALL family members and caregivers of our residents to utilize our E-Visit service via video call (Zoom or WhatsApp) in lieu of physical visit to the TLR premises. Please email us at evisit@lentorhealth.com to make an appointment for the video/phone call in lieu of a physical visit. Our coordinator will be happy to assist you if you have any difficulties connecting to this service. Video calls should be no longer than 10mins at the time slots below, by appointment only:
a. 10:00am - 11:00am (daily)
b. 3:30pm - 5:00pm (daily)
c. 6:00pm - 7:00pm (daily)
