For years, we’ve practiced trick-or-treating within our center community. This year, our students had their first real trick-or-treat experience in the real world and their excitement and confidence truly shone through! Thank you for this awesome event.🥰

Happy Teachers’ Day! 🍎🌸
Today, we celebrate not only the dedication and love of our teachers but also the beautiful milestones of our learners. 💖
One of our proudest moments came as a surprise gift this Teachers’ Day — one of our students has just been officially discharged by their Developmental Pediatrician at Singapore NUH. 🎉👩⚕️👨⚕️
This milestone reflects the power of teamwork: teachers who never gave up, parents who partnered with us every step of the way, and a child who showed resilience and courage. 🌈
To all teachers — your patience, creativity, and unwavering commitment make a lifelong impact. Every little progress, every small victory, and every “aha” moment add up to life-changing stories like this.
Thank you for being the guiding hands and kind hearts that shape brighter futures. 🌟
Happy Teachers’ Day from all of us at Special Learners! ❤️

Here’s to growing up in a country where every learner is valued, and every child — no matter how they learn — is part of the nation’s future. Happy 60th Birthday, Singapore! 🇸🇬

We are Husband & Wife working as Occupational Therapists in the field of pediatrics and have been in practice for 20 years. When we had our 2nd son, Mars, we are so excited of his future and as a professional we noticed that he has a delay with his motor movement and speech.
He wasn’t crawling properly and was not pointing and communicating, we waited and don’t want to jump into conclusions and hoping it might go away (we were at the stage of denial) but it became apparent when he turned two years old. The future of him going to school dawned on us. We got worried of him not being able to cope up in life.
From there we decided to open Special Learners to enrol him in and teach him ourselves, the word spread out in the community and we got other children to join in as well.
Through our professional and parent approach we created a programme that focuses on the child’s way of being. We are committed to spirited learning, growth, development, fun and love. We empower our students with special needs to ask insightful questions either through verbal or gestures, explore disciplinary boundaries, and confront conventional ways of thinking.
At this moment, we are happy with how Mars and the other kids progress with their skills. They are starting to open up and enjoy playing with their peers and able to integrate with their community.
We invite you to learn more about our programme at Special Learners and discover a learning process built for your child.
