Chin Leong is a counsellor-in-training with a background in social work. He supports clients in areas such as addiction, recovery, and reintegration, drawing on early experience in a family service centre that exposed him to the complex needs of individuals and families. His systemic approach helps clients build self-awareness and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Believing that healing happens most meaningfully within the therapeutic relationship, he strives to offer a safe and accepting space where clients feel heard and understood. As a male social worker training to be a counsellor, he is especially interested in supporting groups often overlooked within the system, including men and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

💬 “Are you okay?” is powerful – when we truly listen to the answer.

Signs someone might be emotionally struggling:
– Isolating more than usual
– Constant fatigue or saying “I’m just tired”
– Quick to anger or easily tearful
– Loss of motivation

If you notice these symptoms, gently ask if they are alright, and remind them that support is available.
