We are an integrated Pilates and physiotherapy studio who believe in helping people to obtain optimum health through intelligent movement. At Focus we want to make sure that you not only heal your body of injuries, but also ensure that your body stays strong and flexible so that it can carry you through your day-to-day activities and the rest of your life. As Joseph Pilates once said, "You're only as young as your spine is flexible", so we want to make sure you stay young for as long as possible. Our approach is based on creating a Pilates and physiotherapy environment that focuses on effective and safe exercise and treatment to assist you in achieving your goal.. We strive to ensure our instructors have industry leading knowledge and technique in order to provide you with the best level of instruction. We are well placed to do this as we are the proud host and appointed training centre for the internationally recognised Polestar Pilates Instructor Education Courses.

Cindy has been working in the movement industry since 2005, starting her career as a Personal Trainer before specialising in Sports Massage Therapy with a strong focus on recovery. She has worked with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and corporate professionals, helping them relieve muscle tension and return to activity with confidence.

Sports massage is a great complement to your Pilates and movement practice. It helps release tight muscles, improve mobility, and support recovery so your body can move and perform at its best.

Sports Massage launches on 17 March, and to celebrate the launch we’re offering a special trial price:

Meet our New Instructor, Berdy! 💚✨
Our very own marketing manager turned instructor comes from a lifelong background in movement. She first encountered Pilates and physiotherapy while majoring in dance, where she discovered that movement could not only speak and express, but also heal. That curiosity eventually led her to pursue her Polestar Pilates training, grounding her practice in intelligent, mindful movement that supports both performance and longevity.

Her goal is to help you find joy in movement, build consistency through connection and curiosity, and develop a practice you keep coming back to - not only for the end result, but because it feels good.

Join Berdy’s Community Class next Tuesday, 6th January at 5:30pm – current package holders are welcome to join for free to get to know our newest instructor.

Meet our New Instructor, Min Min! 💪🏼💚
Strength + HIIT lover with over 10 years in ICU & spine surgery nursing.

After years spent assisting in long surgeries left her with shoulder and low-back pain, she found Polestar Pilates and discovered how mindful movement, alignment, and control can build strength and prevent pain.

Today, she blends clinical knowledge with strength training to teach Pilates that helps you move better and take charge of your body.

And because learning never stops, she still works part-time as a nurse educator, keeping her teaching grounded in evidence-based practice and real-world experience.
