ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear hearing aid users,

If you have paired an Andriod phone to your hearing aids, please note that the recent Andriod software 12.0 and 12.1 , has been found to drain hearing aid batteries 30% faster than normal.

If you are facing this issue, do update your device to Andriod 13 as soon as it is released for your mobile phone. Or turn off your phone bluetooth when you are not streaming or using phone calls.

Dear Clients of Faith Hearing

We have received reports from hearing aid users who have updated their iPhone iOS from 15 to 16 are experiencing Bluetooth connectivity issues. Some have also reported that their rechargeable hearing aids do not automatically turn on after removal from their chargers.

If you are experiencing these issues, please do the following:

1. If you are experiencing Bluetooth connection issues.
Please unlink your hearing aid devices from your mobile phones and reconnect them again. Here are the steps to reconnect your hearing aids:

2. If your rechargeable hearing aid does not automatically turn on after removal from the charger. Please turn your hearing aids on manually and try placing them in the charger again. If the issue persists please try un-installing and re-installing your hearing aid app.

Dear Clients of Faith Hearing,

Canossian Early Intervention Services, Child Development Unit and school are organising an Open House and a Virtual Talk for parents of children with hearing loss.

The Open House will allow parents to learn about the Canossian Village, the facilities and how the Canossian team educate children with hearing loss (preschool and primary school). The Virtual Talk will discuss hearing loss and its impact on communication, language, cognitive and social development of children.

You might have noticed a change to your myPhonak app interface recently. myPhonak 6.1 was implemented on 6 July 2022 to improve the overall Phonak user experience.

myPhonak 6.1 app has improved bluetooth connectivity, battery preservation and is even able to track your hearing aid wearing time, daily steps, distance traveled, and heart rate (Audeo Fit users only).
