Last Friday, we came together for a truly meaningful Thanksgiving Dinner — an evening filled with joy, gratitude, and heartfelt moments. ✨

We are deeply honoured to have Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, as our Guest-of-Honour. 🙏 Thank you, Minister, for gracing the occasion and celebrating the evening with us.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes out to our guests who joined us, as well as our performers for the night. 🎶💐 Your presence, warmth, and support made the night especially memorable. It was a beautiful reminder of the community spirit that continues to uplift and empower our work every day. ❤️

Our Clinical Director and Director of Nursing, Mdm Low Mui Lang, joined fellow leaders to discuss the present and future of Allied Health in community care at the Singapore Allied Health Conference (SAHC) 2025. 💬

Established by SingHealth in 2021, SAHC is a national platform that brings together thought leaders and Allied Health Professionals (AHP) from across Singapore and around the region to build a community of practice, exchange of ideas, knowledge and best practices, inspire the growth and progress of the AHP workforce in Singapore and recognise AHPs for their achievements and contributions.

Titled “Pulse on Community Care: Leadership Perspectives on the Present and Future of Allied Health,” Mdm Low shared insights on nurturing and empowering the Allied Health workforce in the panel discussion — from tackling today’s challenges to shaping innovative models of care for tomorrow.

We’re proud to have the All Saints Home flag flown on this national platform that celebrates collaboration, learning, and the transformation of community care. 🌿✨

🎉𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 “𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮 – 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲” 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞🎉

On 21 Oct, we celebrated the graduation and closing of the first Art with You: Into the Community pilot programme–an initiative by National Gallery Singapore to elevate art appreciation and engagement in the community care setting. ✨

This pilot is adapted from Art with You, an evidence-based dementia-inclusive programme developed by the Gallery. Using curated artworks from the Gallery’s art collection, Art with You encourages meaningful conversations and creative engagement for persons living with dementia and their caregivers.

As part of this initiative, our staff and volunteers completed two training sessions conducted by the Gallery’s Community and Access team, and ran a 10-week pilot programme. Through hands-on session and guided learning, they gained the skills and confidence to bring art-based engagement to our residents.

We’re deeply grateful to the Gallery for this meaningful collaboration, and proud of our staff for embracing new, person-centred ways to enrich the lives of our residents through art. 🎨

🍭✨ Pop! Crunch! Slurp! — Community Care Day at All Saints Home (Jurong East) was a symphony of smiles and sweet surprises yesterday. 💖

A BIG thank you to our friends from the Agency for Integrated Care for bringing the buzz and brilliance to our celebration! 🫶 Over 100 staff were treated to icy popsicles 🍧 and crumbly cookies 🍪 — a delicious duo that warmed our hearts and tingled our tastebuds. 🎶

🧠🎯 The quiz on the care sector had us thinking hard— with ComCare-themed plushies up for grabs, it was a battle of wits to guess common phrases like “home personal care” and “meals on wheels” 🐻📌

To our community care heroes — your compassion, commitment, and courage are the heartbeat 💓 of eldercare. We see you. We salute you. We celebrate you.🌟

Last Friday, our residents from All Saints Home (Jurong East) enjoyed a beautiful evening outing to Jurong Lake Gardens, soaking in the magical Mid-Autumn Festival light-up, “Lights by the Lake.” 🎶🏮

Guided by our dedicated Nursing, Operations and Rehabilitative Services staff, together with our caring volunteers, our residents admired the enchanting displays and soaked in the festive atmosphere. ✨

Moments like these remind us of the joy that simple outings can bring - lighting up not just the night, but hearts too. 🌙
