🍊✨ Lunar New Year Reunion at All Saints Home (Tampines) ✨🍊

Boom-boom-cha! — the yoga ball drums rolled like thunder, echoing joy through our halls as we welcomed Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Senior Minister of State for Education, and Member of Parliament for Tampines North under Tampines GRC to All Saints Home (Tampines) yesterday, at the halfway mark of this year’s Lunar New Year celebrations.

The annual reunion lunch was a symphony of sound and spirit. We are thankful for 🥁Aspire55 Pte Ltd’s drumming performance and joint drumming performance from our residents and clients, resounding in a heartbeat of harmony.

Our CEO Mr Samuel Tan also played the medium grand🎹 and led a singalong of timeless treasures ranging from the soulful Cantonese ballad 万水千山总是情 to springtime serenades 拜年 and 迎春花. 🌄🌸

Our residents and clients enjoyed the scrumptious five-course lunch where they had lou-hei peppered with festive greetings and tucked into restaurant delights such as double-boiled chicken soup and pumpkin rice wrapped in lotus leaves. 🍲

A big Thank You to all community partners, donors, staff and volunteers that made this reunion day of community, connection, and chorus special for our residents and clients. 🫶🏻

💫 Together, we built bonds that bloom beyond the Lunar New Year, reminding us that every note, every smile, every song strengthens the ties that make us one All Saints Home family.

On the third day of the Chinese New Year, we welcomed Ms Grace Fu , Minister for Sustainability and the Environment and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations, and also Adviser to Jurong East-Bukit Batok Grassroots Organisations, as she joined us as part of the Yuhua community’s annual tradition of spreading festive cheer to our residents at All Saints Home (Jurong East).

Together with her grassroots team, Ms Fu personally distributed oranges to our residents — a simple yet meaningful gesture symbolising blessings of good health, happiness, and prosperity for the year ahead. Beyond the festive well-wishes, the visit also included a showcase of our music-based therapeutic programmes such as CRDL and Bunne Guitar, where our residents were engaged confidently and joyfully through music.

We are deeply grateful to Ms Fu for continuing this cherished Lunar New Year tradition with us year after year. Her steadfast support and encouragement mean much to our residents and staff, and strengthen the bonds within the Yuhua community - thank you for sharing in the festive spirit and starting the new year with hope and harmony! 🍊✨

We are proud to share that our Rehabilitative Services team has been awarded the Bronze Award at the Changi General Hospital (CGH) Improvement Festival 2026 for their project on “Effectiveness of Humanoid-Enabled Cognitive Rehabilitation Programme for Residents in Nursing Home.” 🏆

The CGH Improvement Festival is an annual event that brings together CGH staff and partners to celebrate improvement efforts, foster shared learning, and recognise excellence in innovation and quality improvement.

This award reflects our team’s dedication to enhancing cognitive rehabilitation through innovative approaches, and their commitment to improving the quality of life for our residents. By integrating the Dexie humanoid into our nursing homes as part of our rehabilitation programme, we have seen an average 35.3% increase in positive client engagement and an average 45.3% improvement in cognitive performance — a testament to the meaningful impact of technology-enabled, person-centred care.

Well done to the team for their hard work, passion, and perseverance!

Together, we will continue to innovate, collaborate, and strive for excellence — proudly flying the All Saints Home flag high. 🚩✨

We thank Ms Goh Hanyan 吴函燕, Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and MP for Nee Soon GRC (Nee Soon Central), along with a dedicated team of staff volunteers from Nee Soon Town Council and C&W Services, to All Saints Home (Yishun) as they joined us in spreading Chinese New Year festive cheer to our residents 🧧✨

The visit brought much joy as festive goodie bags were distributed, brightening the day and bringing smiles to our residents.

The group was also given an educational tour of our Yishun centre, where we shared more about our amenities and equipment, as well as the programmes we run to engage and support our residents holistically. In addition, they had the opportunity to witness a game of geriatric sports for themselves, gaining firsthand insight into how our residents keep active and maintain their physical well-being.

We are grateful for the time, care and generosity shown, and for standing with us in making the festive season a meaningful one for our community. Together, we continue to build a caring and inclusive society where no one is left behind.

We’re grateful to giving.sg for the opportunity to be part of The Great Singapore Give 2025!

As a three-month nationwide Season of Giving from 1 October to 31 December 2025 by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre, held alongside the grand finale of the SG60 celebrations, this movement reminds us of the power of collective generosity.

We’re honoured to stand with so many partners and communities in building a more compassionate, inclusive, and caring Singapore — where every act of giving, big or small, makes a difference.

Thank you for bringing us together for a cause that truly matters.

Yesterday morning, our CEO, Mr Samuel Tan was part of a panel discussion at the seminar titled “Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management: Shaping a Super-Ageing World – Live Longer, Live Better”, alongside fellow sector experts Ms Karen Wee and Associate Professor Tan Boon Yeow from Lions Befrienders and St Luke's Hospital - SLH respectively.

As Singapore and the world navigate a rapidly ageing population, the seminar offered timely insights into the evolving needs of an ageing society through insightful presentations and the panel discussion — from promoting longevity and well-being to designing inclusive communities, workplaces and policies that enable people to age well.

We are proud to have All Saints Home represented on a platform that is close to our hearts and deeply connected to the work we do every day. Together, we can help shape a future where all members of society can thrive in a super-ageing world.

We also extend our appreciation to Harvard Singapore Foundation for their support of this event, and to the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy for being the venue sponsor.

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of 66 of our colleagues who were recognised at last Friday’s Singapore Health Quality Service Awards (SHQSA) 2026 ceremony! 🌟

Organised by the SingHealth Duke–NUS Academic Medical Centre since 2011, the SHQSA is Singapore’s first dedicated platform honouring healthcare professionals whose work is anchored in compassion, service excellence and patient-centred care. 🫶🏻

Each award received reflects the unwavering dedication of our staff to upholding quality and standards in care, and stands as a meaningful testament to the 40 years of transformative care we commemorate this year. ✨

Our heartfelt congratulations to all our awardees for raising the bar in healthcare service and making a lasting difference in the lives we serve. 💫

We gathered as one community for our Dedication Service last Saturday — a meaningful tradition of All Saints Home since 2022, where we set aside time to give thanks to God and to dedicate ourselves afresh for His service.

We were blessed by Reverend Roy Koh, Senior Minister of Glory Presbyterian Church, who shared on the theme “Old Things, New Heart” from Ezekiel 36:26. He reminded us that while many things around us may remain the same, God desires to renew our hearts. God does not promise a new situation, but a new heart — and it is this new heart that transforms how we do the same work, day after day.

Following the exhortation, our CEO, Mr Samuel Tan led our Board and Board Committee members and staff in a Dedication Pledge, affirming our shared commitment to the vision and mission of All Saints Home, and to serve with faith, love and purpose.

As we step into 2026, this moment is made even more special as we celebrate our 40th anniversary — a milestone that calls us to reflect with gratitude and move forward with renewed hearts, steadfast in our calling to care and serve. ✨

To God be the glory, now and always. 🙏
