Our Clinical Director and Director of Nursing, Mdm Low Mui Lang, today took part in the World Ageing Festival 2026 by Ageing Asia, contributing to important conversations on the future of dementia care.

As a panellist in “𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻”, Mdm Low joined fellow practitioners to explore how care philosophies can be meaningfully put into practice across different settings. The session discussed what it takes to shift mindsets, redesign care environments, and better support care teams in delivering person-centred care for persons living with dementia.

She also provided a brief overview of Singapore’s dementia landscape—highlighting efforts in early diagnosis, community awareness, and more integrated care across healthcare and social sectors. Her remarks set the context for the discussions ahead, reflecting on Singapore’s progress towards a more dementia-inclusive society and the importance of collaboration across stakeholders.

These exchanges on a global platform are an important reminder of the shared journey in advancing thoughtful, person-centred dementia care in our communities.

Yesterday, All Saints Home (Yishun) came alive with the vibrant spirit of 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠! 🎉

Servicemen from Nee Soon 6th Army Maintenance Base (6 AMB) and volunteers from Nee Soon Town Council joined us to bring joy, connection and plenty of smiles to our residents. 💛

Residents had a wonderful time exploring game stations and pop‑up stalls - and even used their game money to “purchase” snacks and everyday items! The simple act of “shopping” brought so much excitement and laughter. 🛍️✨

A huge hit of the day was the professional photography booth, made possible thanks to the amazing support from Nee Soon Town Council volunteers. Residents posed proudly for their portrait keepsakes, and the men’s shirts booth quickly became another crowd favourite! 📸👕

A big thank you to all volunteers from 6 AMB and Nee Soon Town Council for brightening the day of our residents. And kudos to our Community Relations and Rehabilitation teams for creating such meaningful experiences! 💛🌼

It was a joyful midweek for our residents at All Saints Home (Yishun) as the wonderful volunteers from the Sayang Joyful Angels group brought smiles and creativity to our residents through their monthly art and craft workshop 🎨✨

Led by volunteers Irene and Peggy, the session was filled with laughter, vibrant colours, and meaningful moments of connection. Held on the first Wednesday of every month, these workshops give our residents the opportunity to express themselves, stay engaged, and enjoy the simple joy of creating something beautiful with their own hands.

Moments like these remind us that volunteering is not just about giving time — it is about giving heart. Through every interaction, conversation, and shared smile, volunteers bring warmth, dignity, and a deep sense of belonging to those they serve.

Today, we celebrate World Social Work Day — a day to honour the dedication, compassion, and resilience of social workers everywhere.

Behind every story of hope restored, dignity upheld, and lives transformed, there is a social worker walking alongside individuals, families, and communities.

We would also like to recognise our dedicated Medical Social Services team at All Saints Home led by our Head of Medical Social Services Ms Chen Yuanlin, whose daily efforts continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Thank you for being the quiet strength, the listening ear, and the unwavering advocate for those in need. Your work may not always be seen, but its impact is deeply felt.

All Saints Home had the joy of sharing about our organisation with the amazing Secondary 3 students of Dunman Secondary School during their Values‑In‑Action (VIA) Assembly last Friday! 💛

Through this session, students explored how each class can choose a community partner and work together to design and carry out a meaningful VIA project. We’re heartened to see their enthusiasm as they learnt how collaboration, empathy, and purpose can come together to create real impact for those in need. 🌱✨

Thank you, Dunman Secondary School, for inviting us and for cultivating compassionate, community‑minded young leaders. We look forward to the possibility of partnering with your students to bring hope, joy, and care to our seniors!
