🪨 Standing on Kjeragbolten (Norway) 984 meters above the fjord.
From this angle of the photo, it looks easy.
Getting on the rock isn’t. I kid you not. You need to hop from the edge of the cliff onto the rock. No ropes to help.
Your heart pounds so fast, like it’s about to jump out of your chest. Your legs turn jelly. You pray that the rock doesn’t give way, and you don’t slip.
Once you made it on to that rock, everything tightens up - your shoulders, your breath, your spine.
You freeze.
Cheese! All for that picture.
It’s amazing how the body reacts to fear and uncertainty.
Even when we’re not standing over a cliff, we often carry that same tension - in meetings, in traffic, in our daily lives .
The problem is, we become numb to it.
Our nervous system adapts, our posture compensates, and before long, we forget what true ease feels like.
Pain sets in. And we think it’s normal.
It is not.
Common is different from normal.
That’s why I love what I do everyday - helping people release that hidden tension so their body (and mind) can finally find balance again.
Because life will always have its “Kjeragbolten moments.”
The goal isn’t to avoid them - it’s to embrace them head on with a body that’s calm, connected, and resilient.
