Tanglin WEC organised a meaningful eye screening joint event with the Singapore Women’s Association (SWA), together with their dedicated volunteers and doctors.
Supported by Tanglin CCMC, Goldhill RN, Botanic Gardens RN, and AAC.

A very special appreciation to Mdm Wendy from SWA for her incredible dedication. Despite injuring her hand the day before, she still showed up and thoughtfully guided us in packing the van before heading to NUH for treatment. Her selflessness and commitment were deeply inspiring.

Special thanks to Kate, SWA’s coordinator, for making this event a success. Deeply appreciate her and the dedicated volunteers and doctors.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mervyn and the Goldhill team - more than 50% of the participants were their residents, with warm support even from their former chairman.

Thank you also to George from AAC for bringing residents from Pek Kio, and to Teck Ming for his kind support - it truly meant a lot.

We are also thankful to the Botanic Gardens volunteers who readily stepped in to help. It was especially heartening to see that more than 70% of participants were MOCA residents.

This event was made possible by the strong community spirit, care, and teamwork from everyone involved. Deeply grateful to each and every one of you who played a part in making it such a meaningful success. 🙏

The Prime Minister’s Istana Garden Party featured artwork crafted from recycled materials by youths and CACC groups from our Community Clubs, ITEs, polytechnics and universities. It was great to see new friendships blossom over CNY-themed hawker stations and engaging hands-on craft booths.

Months of planning and preparation truly paid off, when the President, the First Lady, the Prime Minister, invited guests, Grassroots Leaders and Advisers expressed their appreciation and filled their cameras with photos. It was indeed a memorable and interactive experience.

A day filled with excitement and meaningful engagements! Our WEC members attended the Moulmein-Cairnhill CNY Lunch 2026, enjoying a wonderful celebration.

Heartfelt congratulations to Michelle Ng and Amy on receiving their Long Service Awards ~ a truly well-deserved recognition of their dedication and commitment.

On the same day, Jeanette, Magdalene and Harry also contributed their time and effort at the Istana Garden Party, making it a meaningful day of service and community involvement.

Play. Learn. Stay Safer Online.
In collaboration with Kids PlaySafer and Tanglin WEC.

Over two days at EMB Cairnhill CC, Tanglin WEC proudly showcased our Tanglin WEC AI Trainers (in Training), who supported the AI Ready ASEAN booth, a regional AI literacy initiative by AI Singapore × ASEAN Foundation × Google.org — alongside Master Trainers.

Together, the team facilitated a GenAI quiz, engaging both students and parents in conversations around AI, online safety, and everyday digital choices.

Well done to our WEC AI ladies for stepping up with confidence and teamwork. Reaching almost 1,000 students and families, this was community learning in action 💛

We were honoured to have Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Trade & Industry and National Development, and Member of Parliament for Tanjong Pagar GRC (Moulmein–Cairnhill), officiate the unveiling of Tanglin Community Club’s new logo.

It was a meaningful evening of togetherness as we welcomed the Lunar New Year through our Lohei & Appreciation celebration, followed by the launch of Tanglin CC’s new logo - marking a significant milestone and a new chapter for our community.

The event also provided a heartfelt opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to our trainers, volunteers, and partners who have journeyed with us and continue to support Tanglin CC.

Special thanks to Malkit for her invaluable assistance and dedication in supporting the setup of the logo unveiling ceremony. We are truly grateful for your commitment.

Our appreciation also goes to Hisham and Neo for their excellent coordination and seamless logistics support, which contributed greatly to the success of the event.

Moulmein–Cairnhill Annual Retreat in Batam
The retreat offered a meaningful opportunity for our committee members to reconnect, reflect, and strengthen team cohesion.
