The Neteru & Ethical Use of Divine Names
In ancient Egyptian healing, the Neteru were not seen as external gods who arrived to solve human problems, but as universal laws of consciousness already active in nature and within each person.
For example:
Ma’at restores balance and ethical coherence
Tehuti supports clarity, perception, and communication
Hathor facilitates emotional healing and renewal
Sekhmet catalyses purification and transformation
The use of divine names was not about control or performance. Ethical integrity mattered more than any technique.
A name spoken from ego or personal agenda had no real authority. A name spoken from genuine alignment required no force.
True healing responded to coherence, not volume - to presence, not theatrics.
Contemplation:
What happens when effort is replaced with integrity and restraint?
In the next post, we will bring these threads together in a simple outline of how healing was traditionally understood and completed in silence.
