Does your puppy need rehab?
It depends.
Some puppies move well, sit squarely, and show good stability. These pups often just need time, normal activity, and occasional monitoring.
Some show small changes only when tired. A slight trunk sway, reduced stability, or subtle compensations that come and go. These pups may benefit from simple check-ins to make sure things stay on track.
And some show clearer signs early on. Changes in posture even at rest, difficulty controlling their limbs, or consistent compensations. These are the ones who benefit from early rehab, before patterns become harder to change.
The key is not guessing.
It is understanding how your puppy moves.
A clear assessment gives you a starting point. It tells you what is normal, what to watch for, and what your puppy actually needs.
No action. Regular check-ins. Or active rehab.
Each puppy is different.
Not all puppies need rehab.
But most will benefit from a clear baseline of how they move.
If you are unsure where your puppy stands, it is worth taking a closer look.
