This week, we had the privilege of hosting a Post-ESMO/ASCO 2025 Breast Cancer Roundtable Dinner.

The event brought together over 40 oncologists for an evening of scientific exchange and in-depth discussion on the latest breast cancer advancements presented at ASCO and ESMO 2025.

Throughout the evening, there were insightful sharing sessions from various speakers, highlighting evolving treatment strategies and emerging medical advancements. Dr Karmen Wong, Dr Shang Yeap and Dr Lee Guek Eng chaired the panel discussions, guiding thoughtful conversations on how these developments continue to shape the rapidly advancing breast cancer treatment landscape.

We were delighted to have Dr Karmen Wong, Medical Director of Icon Singapore join this year’s Icon Doctor Day Australia and New Zealand. This annual event brought together more than 90 of Icon’s leading specialists to share knowledge, explore innovations, and discuss ways to uplift cancer care and close the treatment gap. Dr Ian Irving, Icon Group Chief Medical Officer, opened the day, followed by an inspiring update from Mark Middleton OAM, Icon Group CEO, on our global vision, accelerating international operations and transforming cancer care through technology and innovation.

Dr Karmen Wong, shared valuable insights on the positive impact Icon is making across ASEAN, highlighting similarities and differences between healthcare systems in the region. She also introduced our newest centre at Bali International Hospital, Indonesia, and discussed the exciting future of cancer care in Asia.

The most common is adenocarcinoma, which develops in the exocrine glands of the pancreas. The other, known as neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), begins in the hormone-producing cells.
