Neck pain, stiffness, or headaches can often be linked to restricted movement in the cervical spine and surrounding muscles. Physiotherapy uses hands-on techniques, movement assessment, and targeted rehabilitation to help restore normal joint mobility and reduce muscle tension.

Manual therapy, like the treatment shown here, can help improve neck mobility, relieve discomfort, and support better movement patterns when combined with specific exercises. The goal isn’t just short-term relief, but helping your neck move and function better long-term.

If neck pain is affecting your work, sleep, or daily activities, it may be time to get it assessed.

Muscle tightness is common in sport and training, but persistent tightness can sometimes indicate underlying muscle dysfunction such as myofascial trigger points.

Dry needling is a physiotherapy technique used to target these trigger points and help restore normal muscle function. Research suggests it may help reduce pain, improve local circulation, and influence neuromuscular activity within affected muscles.

However, dry needling is not a quick fix. It is most effective when combined with structured rehabilitation that addresses movement quality, strength, and training load.

👉 If recurring muscle tightness or pain is limiting your training, book a physiotherapy assessment via the link in bio.

We’re excited to welcome to Integrative Physio as our Senior Physiotherapist.

Hazim graduated from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) under the MOH Holdings Scholarship and previously worked at Singapore General Hospital, where he treated a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical cases.

He has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation and return-to-sport recovery, and was also part of the medical team at the Southeast Asian Games 2025, supporting Kabaddi athletes during competition.
Hazim combines manual therapy with targeted, exercise-based rehabilitation to help clients regain confidence, strength, and function.

Please join us in welcoming Hazim to the team 👋

Many people think concussions are just “minor head knocks.”

But in reality, a concussion is a brain injury that can affect multiple systems in the body.
Symptoms can include headaches, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, balance problems, sensitivity to light or noise, and fatigue. For some people, these symptoms resolve quickly. For others, they can persist and significantly affect daily life, work, or sport.

Proper concussion management is important. Evidence-based assessment helps identify which systems are affected, including the vestibular, visual, cervical, and neurological systems, so treatment can be targeted and recovery safely guided.

At Integrative Physio, our Complete Concussions program provides structured assessment and rehabilitation to help patients recover and return safely to normal activities or sport.

👉 If you or someone you know is experiencing ongoing symptoms after a concussion, book an assessment via the link in bio.

Recovery can be a long and challenging journey, especially when progress feels slow or uncertain. Having the right guidance, structure, and support can make all the difference.

At Integrative Physio, rehabilitation isn’t just about treating the injury, it’s about building strength, confidence, and long-term resilience. Through a structured and progressive approach, our physiotherapists help patients move beyond setbacks and return stronger than before.

We’re grateful for patients who trust us with their recovery and share their experiences.

👉 If you feel like you’ve hit a wall with your injury or rehabilitation, book a physiotherapy assessment via the link in bio and let our team guide your recovery.

Evidence-based care means your treatment isn’t based on trends, guesswork, or generic protocols.
It’s guided by research, clinical reasoning, and a thorough assessment of your specific condition, goals, and lifestyle. No two injuries are identical, so recovery shouldn’t be either.

Individualised physiotherapy considers:
• The nature of your injury
• Tissue healing timelines
• Movement patterns and load
• Your work, sport, and daily demands

Recovery works best when science meets personalisation.

Not all pain heals with rest.

Chronic tendon injuries, like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, or patellar pain, often persist because the tissue hasn’t properly remodelled. That’s where shockwave therapy can help.

Shockwave therapy (ESWT) uses acoustic waves to stimulate blood flow, activate collagen production, and influence pain signalling. It helps “restart” the healing response in tissues that have stalled in recovery.
But it’s not just about the machine. Shockwave works best when combined with proper assessment, load management, and progressive strengthening, so the tissue becomes stronger, not just temporarily less painful.

💬 Have you been resting an injury that just isn’t improving?

⚡ Did you know?

Systematic reviews have reported 65–91% success rates for extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) in treating chronic musculoskeletal conditions ,particularly tendinopathies that have not responded to rest or exercise alone.

Research shows ESWT can:
• Stimulate collagen production
• Improve local blood flow
• Modulate pain signalling
• Support tendon remodelling

Shockwave therapy is not a shortcut, it works best when combined with structured rehabilitation and progressive loading.

Not all pain needs aggressive treatment.

Sometimes, tissues benefit from targeted, controlled stimulation to support healing.

Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to deliver energy into deeper tissues. This can help improve local circulation, support tissue repair, and reduce pain, particularly in tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries.

But like all modalities, it’s not a standalone solution. It works best when combined with proper assessment, movement retraining, and progressive strengthening. Treatment should always match the stage of healing and the demands placed on your body.

💬 Have you ever had ultrasound therapy before? Did you know what it actually does?

Surgery is only one part of recovery. The quality of post-surgical rehabilitation often determines long-term strength, mobility, and return-to-sport outcomes.

Research consistently shows that structured rehabilitation improves functional recovery, reduces complications, and supports safer return to activity after orthopaedic procedures.

Rehabilitation is not just about healing tissue, it’s about restoring strength, motor control, and load tolerance.

👉 If you’re recovering from surgery or preparing for one, book a physiotherapy assessment via the link in bio and let’s plan your recovery properly.

Physiotherapy is more than massage or exercises.

Physiotherapists are trained to assess, identify, and diagnose movement-related dysfunctions, whether that’s joint restrictions, muscle imbalances, nerve involvement, or faulty movement patterns.
Pain is often a symptom. The real issue is usually how the body is moving, loading, or adapting.

Through structured assessment, we determine:
• What’s causing the problem
• Why it’s happening
• What needs to change

Treatment isn’t random, it’s guided by clinical reasoning, anatomy, biomechanics, and evidence-based practice.

💬 Did you know physiotherapists are trained to diagnose movement problems?
👉 If pain, stiffness, or recurring injuries are limiting you, book a physiotherapy assessment via the link in bio and let’s address the root cause.
