I'm excited to share that we have another yoga session lined up, centred around stimulating the Vagus Nerve...breath work, movement and poses specifically curated to tone the Vagus Nerve & activate the "Rest & Digest" function.

Breathing, stretches, humming, lots of movement, and practising asanas specifically for stimulating the Vagus Nerve, to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system. Followed by Contrast Therapy 🔥🥶 all at East Coast.

We all know someone or have a friend of a friend, or maybe it's even yourself... that's battled with breast cancer. In one way or another it's affected us all 💔

Let's take a moment to lift them up - support the fighters, admire the survivors, and honour the taken. ✨🩷
And so this month is a reminder to get your breasts checked - do the self-exam, go for the ultrasound or mammogram! Early detection is key!
Early detection dramatically improves breast cancer survival, with localized breast cancer (no spread) having a five-year survival rate of about 99%, while regional (spread to nearby lymph nodes) is 87%, and distant (spread to other organs) is 32%. Early detection, often via mammography, allows for less aggressive treatments and better long-term outcomes, making it crucial for increasing survival rates.
