Lìchūn (Start of Spring) marks the body’s shift from storing energy to moving it.

In TCM, spring is not about pushing harder, it is about allowing circulation to return gently.

The Huangdi Neijing advises:

“Sleep a little later, wake a little earlier, walk freely, loosen the body.”

Spring lifestyle tips:
👉Keep a regular sleep schedule
👉Choose gentle movement over intense workouts
👉Move enough to feel warm, not exhausted

Not recommended
❌Intense workout that cause excessive perspiration
❌Intense workout in cold weather

This supports healthy Liver qi and smoother energy flow.

冬至是一年中白昼最短、夜晚最长的一天。
在中医理论中，冬至象征着阴极而阳生，是阳气开始回升的重要转折点。此时好好调养，有助于为来年打下稳固的健康基础。

《黄帝内经·四气调神大论》：
秋三月，此谓容平。早卧早起，与鸡俱兴，使志安宁，以缓秋刑。收敛神气，使秋气平。

秋天是“收”的季节。自然万物收敛，我们也应减少消耗，储备能量。早睡早起，劳逸结合。在新加坡，长时间待在空调房易使免疫力下降，加上雨天减少了户外活动。建议：

🧘 室内练习太极、气功、呼吸调息

Autumn dryness can irritate the throat, nose, and skin. In Singapore, air-conditioning adds “artificial dryness” on top of humidity—so diet matters.

🌿 Moisten the Lungs: snow pear, white fungus, lily bulb, almonds, radish soup
🌿 Clear Dampness: barley, winter melon, red beans，green beans, mountain yam

❌ Limit spicy and deep-fried foods—they add heat and worsen dryness.
