We're pleased to share that our teams from Software Engineering & Development (SEED) and Clinical Informatics have been recognised with the Centre of Regulatory Excellence Standards Development Organisation (CoRE-SDO) Outstanding Partner Award, for their dedication and collaboration in advancing biomedical and health standardisation in Singapore!

Congratulations to Victor and Charissa for their hard work on SS720 (Remote Clinical Monitoring), and to Jing Jing and Hsiu Li for their dedication to developing SS719 (Guidelines on Data Standard (Terminology) to Support Interoperability of Healthcare System Records)!

These new Singapore Standards aim to strengthen the interoperability of digital solutions and patient data in our public healthcare system. A big shout out to our Synapxe teams for driving real progress, and delivering technical excellence and meaningful innovation that improve lives and healthcare for all.

We were glad for the opportunity to showcase how AI can make healthcare more accessible and inclusive at the 40th Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) Conference.

At the event, we highlighted two AI innovations developed to support everyday health needs:
🤖 AI — our conversational assistant (currently in beta) that provides easy access to trusted health information in Singapore’s four main languages, empowering individuals to make informed health decisions with confidence.
👶 BiliSG — an AI-powered mobile application that Singapore General Hospital and SingHealth Polyclinics are developing with Synapxe, enabling parents to screen for newborn jaundice easily and safely at home.

The AAAI Conference brings together researchers, practitioners, scientists, students and engineers from across the AI ecosystem to share research and foster meaningful scientific exchange. We’re honoured to contribute to these conversations and share how AI can be translated into real-world health impact.
