At , we had the opportunity to see Artemis presented for the first time — a modular biophysics platform by Aresis, integrating advanced imaging, optical tweezers, and microfluidics into one cohesive system.

Built on a modular design, Artemis enables seamless integration of advanced biophysical experimental methods — adapting and evolving alongside research needs.

At Wilsonic Design, we contributed to the project by designing the system’s enclosure — shaping a clean, functional interface between complex technology and the user.
Designed to be flexible, scalable, and future-proof, it transforms complex experimental tasks into a clear, intuitive research experience.

We’re excited to share that Operating Table Y of Novak M has won the Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2025 – marking the 14th Red Dot we’ve received. We are honoured to have had the chance to be part of the development team at the forward-thinking medical equipment company, Novak M, and to contribute with what we do best – innovative design.

Designed with input from surgeons and nurses, the mobile Operating Table Y (ORTY-2400 & ORTY-2500) is truly advanced in its approach to providing the most functional, most comfortable and overall best experience for surgeons and patients alike.
That means:
• 320 kg load capacity & electric height adjustment
• Trendelenburg & lateral tilt up to ±20° ↕️
• Detachable leg section & cut-out for specialised procedures
• Seamless PU surfaces for fast, hygienic cleaning

No matter the type of surgery being performed, it provides mobility and stability, adaptability and precision, ergonomics and technical know-how for optimum patient care!

TERMO PLUS ERA: Where Design Meets Innovation

More than just a heat pump, the TERMO PLUS ERA redefines efficiency and adaptability. We designed a modular housing for this all-in-one solution, seamlessly integrating water heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning.

With a modular cover system, effortless servicing, and a sleek aesthetic, it ensures both form and function. Crafted from expanded polypropylene (EPP) for insulation, durability, and sustainability, it’s built for long-term value.

We set out to improve DOMEL’s Millmix 20 homogeniser intended for creating small amounts of a sample.
Can you make it quieter? They asked.
Can you make the stroke larger? They asked.
We’ve managed to do that and more. Meet the Millmix 30. It provides the most advanced technology while creating a consistent look and feel across their product line (it’s an obvious relative to the Centric 260 R centrifuge we designed for them a few years ago).
A useful tool for disintegrating many materials, the Millmix 30 can be used in multiple contexts for high-quality results.
Millmix 30 is a suitable tool for dedicated scientific work as well as daily routines, providing efficient disintegration, homogenisation and mixing in seconds. Indeed, the largest stroke on the market quietly and elegantly delivers the most homogenised sample possible.

The design of the brochures for Juvo Solutions PTY LTD are a good example of the expertise we bring to that comprehensive process. As facilitators of the design, manufacture and wholesale distribution of assisted living products to service the healthcare and rehabilitation industry, what better way for Juvo Solutions to show their products than “in situ”?

In this series of brochures, our team even created and rendered the inviting 3D interior spaces in which we placed the mobile shower commodes. All the design elements work together, creating a harmonic message for the end user and, as Juvo Solutions says, “enabling unprecedented personal care.

It’s that Red Dot time of year again!
This year, our general manager, Nina Mihovec, served as a member of the Red Dot Design Award Jury. What an honour!
Since Wilsonic Design is a recipient of several for Product Design, it was a unique experience for a member of our team to take part in this renowned competition from the other side. Through the judging process, she got to meet amazing people from all around the world and see many outstanding products from thoughtful, creative and innovative designers.

More than ever, Mihovec believes that investing in good design is a sustainable, long-term decision that can elevate a company to a whole new level – not just aesthetically but from a business perspective as well.

Says Mihovec, “It’s about creating products that are not only beautiful and functional, but also align with a company’s values and goals, leading to increased customer satisfaction, brand loyalty and, ultimately, business success.”

As a creative team, innovation doesn't stop even in our free time. We've recently developed an airport towing tractor cabin concept. Our approach was Design for Manufacturing, aiming to make low volume production concepts more approachable in terms of investment. We strategically utilized metal profiles and sheet metal as the primary materials. Additionally, we prioritized the importance of driver ergonomics, ensuring optimal comfort and usability. Stay tuned for more updates on our creative endeavors.

Goodbye, 2022! Hello, 2023! The entire team at Wilsonic Design wishes you a happy and prosperous New Year!
We’re thrilled and thankful that Nektar Natura once again entrusted us to do the package design for their holiday gift: two beverages – Winter Blush and Sweet Spirit –representing the brand’s line of high-quality fresh juices and carbonated drinks and its passion for hospitality.
