Easter at ADELI was warm and full of life 🤍

On Sunday, we went on an Easter egg hunt with the Easter bunny — the kids were laughing and enjoying every little discovery 🐰🥚

On Monday, we had “Šibačka” — a traditional Slovak Easter custom where boys symbolically tap girls with braided willow whips to wish them health, beauty, and good luck 🌿

These are the kind of days that stay in your memory — full of smiles, laughter, and a real festive atmosphere ✨

February 28 is Rare Disease Day. Worldwide, there are more than 7,000 known rare diseases, affecting about 300 million people in total. In Europe, a disease is considered rare if it affects fewer than 1 in 2,000 people.

Diagnosing a rare disease is challenging. It often takes years before patients receive the correct diagnosis. Research into recognition and treatment is expensive, and moreover, only about 5% of rare diseases have an approved medicine that can slow down the symptoms.

Today we remember: You are not alone.
