Njala University School of Public Health students were out today at the major streets of Bo City on an Health jogging and awareness raising campaign on the just declared Public health outbreak in the country (Mpox). This exercise is to compliment the government's effort through the Ministry of Health and the National Public Health Agency to fight against this deadly virus through awareness raising. As Public Health Students, it is our mandate to prevent, protect and promote the health of every individual in the country.

The Njala University Public Health Association (NUPHA) is coming up with an awareness raising campaign and health jogging for all students at paramedical campus around the major streets of Bo City on Saturday the 18th, January, 2025, from 6am to 11am.
This exercise is to create awareness to citizens in Bo City about the recent Mpox outbreak that has been declared a public health emergency in Sierra Leone.
