Peace Club Campaign at Milton Margai University, Social Work Department on the 26th of June, 2025.
Peace starts within us, and on 26 June 2025, the Peace Club continued its mission at the Social Work Department of Milton Margai University. We came not just to speak, but to connect. As a team, we shared how peace isn’t something found outside of us, but something we build from within through mindfulness, meditation, and conscious inner work.
The students in the Social Work Department were deeply engaged. They opened up, asked questions, and welcomed the practices we introduced with sincerity. We explored how inner peace supports emotional strength, clarity, and compassion as key qualities for anyone entering the field of social work. Through guided meditation and honest dialogue, we reminded each other that before we heal others, we must learn to find peace within ourselves.
This campaign was a reminder that peace isn’t just a word or a wish as it’s a way of life. We're deeply grateful to the Social Work Department for creating such a warm and open space for this experience. Step by step, heart by heart, we’re building a culture of peace from the inside out.
