Today, on International Women’s Day, LifeBlood celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of women and girls everywhere.

Women are at the heart of our communities as caregivers, leaders, and lifesavers. Yet many women and children also depend on safe and timely blood transfusions during childbirth, medical emergencies, and treatment.

As we reflect on this year’s theme, Rights. Justice. Action. For All Women and Girls, we reaffirm our commitment to improving access to safe blood and strengthening health systems that protect mothers, daughters, and families.
